my (rather poor) attempt to give an idea of what the versus cover will look like. it's quality is crappy as I did it in paint over the last hours last night and this morning.

36

I kinda like the red/black neon-contrast of the cloth to the right. my dad's mousetrap made the straight lines around the letters and the underscore easy-peasy, but it was a F****** pain pixelshifting around the lines from the circle whateveritis so they didn't come out too good, and it would be worse without the mousetrap. but had I tried to fix it, I would have scewed it up...

if someone wants to fix it and improve the quality, they're welcome to do it

well, if you had been paying attention, you would have known that versus will have a black background instead of the usual white. since the background is black, it gets a different feeling due to the new contrasts in the image that the white background didn't have.

and due to the million shades of white in the original image, it was impossible to just use the bucket tool...

How is that a cover? By "cover" you mean game cover, boxart, right?

I got to admit its good work with paint, but you should get photoshop. It takes 3 seconds there to make the same image better.

Ok, it took me 5 minutes then. But still, for your own good, get photoshop.

Thats good that GHenrik, i'm not too keen on photoshop though, i seem to lean more towards using Paint Shop Pro. I think its easier to use lol
