Ok, Today I got up and started playing The Last Remnant like I have been for awhile. I got to the place right before the final place. I save my game...and my power goes out. Load it up, yay corruption!
I lost over 100 hours of playtime, all my guild quests, the quests were finished, and I was battle rank 106! GOD DAMMIT!!!!
I am not playing this game again, it was such a pain in the ass the first time. So I just decided to watch the movies, because I didn't see the point in playing over 100 hours for 2 bosses and 2 cut scenes.
ARGH!!!!!

I'm a bit confused. You were playing TLR for 100 hours straight?

No, save file was over 100 hours long. Also that isn't even counting the countless hours worth of game overs.

Was the game enjoyable on 360 or should I wait for PS3 version without framedrops?
Can't you download a save file from someone else? (I know it's possible for psp)

It's very enjoyable but the problem is that it's the type of game that you want to play once and be done with. The game is centered around stress and luck.

Sorry for your loss. I guess there's only 2 ways to go about this. Be determined about beating this game and go through it again. Or just save your time and at least be content with the fact that you made it that far, acknowledge it's a personal achievement and move onto another game.
Edit: Didn't thoroughly read that you weren't playing again, I hope this doesn't happen to you again for future experiences.

I was once very far with FFX and FFXII on PS2.
When i buyed a PS3 I transfered al the save files with the PS3/PS2 memory card reader, And I lost al my save files. they were al broken ... Since then I play FFX and XII almost every week and now really realize how hard they are.

i remember back in 1997-99, i was playing final fantasy vii, cant tell you how many times i`ve gotten to the very end and some one trips over the power cord or power goes out right as i`m about to beat the game or right after i beat the emerald or ruby weapon and the screen shows something like "data currupted"...It drove me crazy trying to beat that game, but what kept me playing it over and over again was how fun it was, well said on not playing it again, what i learned from the experience was if it didn`t make me want to play it at least one more time then i shouldn`t get too mad about losing the data
anyway sorry about the loss. try playing a ps2 game or beat the crap out of the 360 with a bat, always cheers me up...

At first I was worried about the 360 RRoDing on me, then When i turned it on I was like....did the f'n power go out when I was saving? I was so pissed when it said corrupted. I'm just going to move on to Valkyria Chronicles. ^.^ I consider myself of beating TLR, I just watched the final cutscene and got on with my life.

OoOoOoOoOoO I got Valkyria Chronicles for Christmas! I havn't started playing it yet, because I have been playing the hell out of Little Big Planet, The World Ends With You, and Prince of Persia.
And BTW I am really sorry about that, I would first be shocked, and then pissed, and then I would probably feel like crying/ and or punching something.

I lost all my Dirge of Cerberus files right before the end boss TWICE. That was frustrating. Granted it's not that long of a game, but still frustrating.
