Question :

Rob and Beth died on the wet floor.
There were many pieces of glass around them.

If this is what I think it is, I've seen this one before.

Rob and Beth are fishes (goldfishes) and their bowl or tank were knocked over.

If I'm wrong I'm going to go with someone threw glass balls filled with water at their heads.

thats kinda a ripoff. because the falling out of the window thing is the correct answer. it fully explains what happened.


but so is the goldfish.

it could also be that they fell through a skylight while it was raining

Now , the next question is :

There's the locked room , and there are 10 bulks of gold bars in there.
Each bulk has 10 gold bars , and each gold bar weighs 1 kg.
There is a thief comes to steal the gold , he will select only one bulk from 10 bulks and when he finish selecting , he will rasp each gold bar 100 g. from the bulk he selected....do it like this everybar in the selected bulk

QUESTION:
Detective has only one equipment , it's weighing scale
and there's the condition that he can weigh the gold ONCE only...
then he has to know immediately that which bulk has been stolen
How he is gonna weigh it ???(the method)

I think all he has to do is weigh whichever bulk is lighter than the rest, considering whichever bulk he chooses would be missing 100gx10bars worth of gold, or simply 1,000g which I believe is 1k, that happens to be weighted equally to one bar of gold. So all s/he would have to do is subtract 1 gold bar's worth of weight from a bulk and/or to guesstimate, just pick the bulk that feels lighter than the other 9 of the 10 bulks.

Just imagine the picture or you can draw it out , and think step by step as 'organize the thinking system' you maybe able to find out easier

honestly, i got dead end in this question too , but when i saw the right answer , i was like crack out...and wtf-*- it's not so hard why why why i can't think of it! ~~~something like that

I knew that one. I knew the answer to this one too, but 1) I can't say that in English 2) I don't remember it completely. You have to put like 1 gold bar in the first, two in the second, three in the third and then weight. At least, that's what I remember.

EDIT: I try, but I'm not so sure. Like I said, you put in the first bulk 1 bar, in the second 2, in the third 3 and so on until the 10th with 10 bars and then you weight. You calculate the theorical weight (if all the bars were 1kg heavy) which is 1+2+3+4+5+6+7+8+9+10= 55 and then you see how much they weight. If the difference is 100g the thief has stolen from the first bulk, if it's 200g he stole from the second, if it's 300g he stole from the 3rd and so on.

Is it right? I didn't search the answer anywhere, I swear -_-
