Did anyone else think they looked kind of different in the trailer?

Maybe it was because she was surprised, or it could just have been the camera angles and stuff.

Please keep her original eyes. PLEASE. They suit her so much better, huge eyes in games/anime usually = overemotional, bawwwing female. Hopefully the return to the normal style by the end of the trailer means they changed their mind back or something >.<

She has beautifull eyes in CG and horrible eyes on in-game footage. Can anyone here post a screen showing Serra o in game footage. So we can see if the eye´s problem is only lightnings´s problem?

It's probably just an expression. I hope, anyway. All the footage after 2:45 looks ingame, and her eyes aren't like it all the time, eg the last image.

It's kinda hard to tell from the screens. Keep in mind though the amount of time that has passed between the release of those two trailers though- Nomura could've easily changed his mind about the eye color and changed it.

However, my personal (but not likely) theory is that the changing of eye color is part of the whole "crystal mythology" since Prince Noctis has a similar feature. Just a thought, and an unlikely one at that, but Nomura is known for his subtle hints in trailers regarding a game's story.

I kinda didn't think I wanna care about Lightning's eyes but I will agree with only the third picture Shuyu showed that it is indeed weird. And unnatural. And that my thoughts on Lightning's personality just changed for the moment.

Is only a trailer beside... The trailer is to short in my opinion. But the scence where she has big eyes was only the moment as she was surprised. And the first pic was the moment as she looks over to the sky. -_-

No shes not yonger because those two image are from the same cutscene in the game.
Also she cant be wearing the same clothes that she was wearing when she was younger and have also the same identical hair style :aldo:
