I'd say its more likely to be testing of the combat system, along with that of world map destinations.

Uh, I have no idea. It could just be someone that you meet that is important to the story, or just a random NPC. It could be a new playable character. I don't know.

Awesome, the gameplay footage's( I assume) looks great. It looks like the game was still in planning stage, but at least it has shed some light on the games battle system.

I'm pretty sure the l'cie are already confirmed to be in Agito. L'cie, fal'cie and the crystals seem to be the main three parts of the FNC mythos.

No, different world, different characters and different story. The similarity is the mythos. Repeat that a hundred times so you'll remember it. =)

I don't understand why people are still confused by that. At least we've gotten over the "TWO SEQUELS ALREADY?!!!!" nonsense, but you'd think that them saying "Nothing in common except the mythos" wouldn't be too hard for people to understand.

Why am i the only one who didnt read about the whole " same universe " thing...

In a recent interview Hashimoto-san said this:

Hashimoto: All of the FFXIII games are done by a different director. They all took the common crystal (http://games.kikizo.com/features/final-fantasy-xiii-square-enix-interview-p2.asp#) mythology" of the game's storyline and decided to each interpret it in their own way. We gave them all their own creative freedom with the story and game style. All three games are very different experiences.Yes, all the games have the subject crystals, just like almost every FF did :rolleyes:...

but as far as im concerned no one said they will share the same universe...

correct me with official statements or it never happened!

The middle boxes are from Isamu Kamikokuryo, the art director.
Q: "What's the difference between blah blah"
A: "In the one world there are unusually many varying outlooks on the world/world views."

Q: "Describe it in a word"
A: "Stylish and chaotic"

Bottom boxes are from Nomura
Q: "Difference..."
A: "It's the crystal of a total staff effort"
Or something like that.

Q: "One word..."
A: "New and revolutionary"

versus is looking sweet ;) man i'm dying to see a gameplay video of it. It's quite sad that they're still not showing any new trailers to the public. I mean GoW3 was announced at E3 and we're already getting gameplay footage of it on the 14th dec.

Thanks to my katakana and knowledge i've been able to translate some of the words on the FFXIII message board:

above first picture in red: bike
next to it in black: battle style
something in red which says: fire
next to that "new character": shi-> rushi
and in red: ??(hard kanji) VS CHOCOBO (it's linked with that character so i think it's a chocobo rider, comandant or vendor.)
Rest is unclear for me.
can someone translate more. Please?

Yes that's a world map:)But i think it are testing build and not gameplay because al the screens feauture a different interface and multiple Noct's.

Is the RE:FF dvd only available on amazon or will you be able to buy it in a shop the 13th?? If its only on amazon. when will it be delivered? Is it posibble to leak before the 13th?

These scans definately reveal a lot of new information. Versus' in-game looks very interesting and a lot like Kingdom Hearts II. The in-game graphics are impressive.

There are definitely more scans. Look at the page numbers. One has page 58. So there must be at least 60. Apparently Cathryn is going to "scan the shit out of them" once she gets the thing, so look forward to that.
