Nothing compared to my mums Everquest updating :aldo:. Also you should have waited until more details on "Rapture" are revealed.

Bah, I was impatient and since I got my computer barely one and a half week ago along with a very cheap FFXI offer, it was pretty much a deal.

Rapture....no news for quite some time. It takes some years developing an MMO, and with no news since February, expect it to pass a little more time until something new arises. And if I suspect correctly, most of the SE resources are currently pooled into FNC. Buuut, I'll take a closer look when that time comes.

I believe their MMO resources and FNC resources are pretty uninvolved with each other but fair enough. You should get Aion when it comes out though. Q1 2009 I think is the estimated release date.

Aion looks fantastic. And I'm not just saying that because Origa's involved with the music.

By the way, when I installed FFXI, it was updating for 8 hours. I managed to finish the book that arrived the same day. Good book.

It does. I've been dying for a new MMO. Haven't played one in over a year. Decided what you're gonna be yet? I'm going for Spirit Master I think. Not sure what race though.

For now, FFXI will pretty much just be filling between the big titles. Until Burnout Paradise lands on the PC in February, I'll just play this. I'm not going to get involved with too many MMO's (most certainly not WoW), but some day I'll take a closer look at what's out there. And it's just a little less than four hours left before I can finally start...tomorrow....

EDIT: It appears that the timer was severely overestimating. Just finished as I completed this sentence.

Well at least your staying clear of WoW :P. Enjoy FFXI. Show us your character when you're finally in.

I actually managed a couple of hours yesterday. I'll take a shot when I find some equipment I can use. I chose Galka, started with monk, landed on warrior, lv4 at the Bahamut server.

Fenristh: It misses a P at the beginning. "Papirkurv" is actually Norwegian for "paper bin". And I can gladly send you a pic of the entire accessories menu.
