Yes, well done. There was a trailer for it at E3 6 months ago. This is a new trailer, not the announcement.

I can't wait for God of War 3 and Uncharted 2. I am sure that both upcoming trailers will rock. It's also good to know that a trailer for Fight Night Round 4 is coming up. I hope the FNR4 is as good as the last game even though EA's Chicago studio is closed and another game studio is making the game.

I wonder if one of the unannounced games is "I'm Alive." I swear Gears of War 2 better not get Game of the Year award. I want "Dead Space" to get it.

I'd be pissed if GTA IV got it; but now that I think about it Gears 1 didn't get Game of the Year when it was nominated some years ago. Hahah maybe LittleBigPlanet will get it or Resistance 2, I heard a lot of people preferred R2 over Gears 2 but ya never know.

Hello all, This is Cecil Kim from Sony Santa Monica Studio.
Here I've posted some of my work on God of War II franchise (dated between 2005-7). I am currently working on God of War III as a lead concept artist.
I often got approached (by other concept guys) and been asked about how I can work on the same thing for soooo long...mm.. Yeah it's coming to be almost solid 6 years for God of War Series. It's not so common in the industry as far as I've experienced -but for me, I am still learning to understand about the whole GAME MAKING just like when I started working on the game back in 2003 with David Jaffe, now our studio grew into "A TEAM" and team members are like my family now. Not just as friends and brothers but also the only team I wanted to work with..Ironically other than SquareUSA, this is the only team I've worked as. I am so fortunate to work with them every everyday. My clumsy drawings come alive thru their hands.... and I am a big fan of GOW myself. http://conceptart.org/forums/images/ca_smilies/normal/anj_smiley.gif
Enough for that-BTW I know.. this is way way past due to post these -the game got released in the early last year.
You know what.. our team -Santa Monica Studio- is ready to show some real thing (2nd Trailer) on spikeTV Video Game Award on this Sunday 14th evening 9pm. We are finally starting to show a little bit of our hard work on GOW III, Yes!! I am just so thrilled and wanted to contribute to it by showing some of my old history work. So enjoy it everyone.

EDIT #2
"Tim Schafer teams up with Jack Black for the Ultimate Rock Opus
Guildford, UK – December 12th, 2008 – Electronic Arts Inc. (NASDAQ: ERTS) and Double Fine Productions, Inc. today announced that they have signed an exclusive publishing agreement that will bring the highly-anticipated rock-adventure Brütal Legend™ to gamers, headbangers, roadies and rockers worldwide next autumnl. The latest creation from gaming icon Tim Schafer and the award-winning team at Double Fine, Brütal Legend is a 3rd person Action/Adventure game starring Jack Black in the role of roadie Eddie Riggs, who sets on an epic quest to build an army of rockers with only a broad axe, a big block V8 and his faithful guitar in hand.
“This is awesome news!” stated Tim Schafer, President of Double Fine Productions. “The quality and creativity of the games EA Partners has been involved with make it a perfect home for our baby, Brütal Legend. Some people were starting to wonder if the saga of Eddie Riggs would ever see the light of day, but now I think it’s clear that this game, like Metal itself, cannot be killed!”
“Brütal Legend is shaping up to be a creative tour de force,” said David DeMartini, Senior Vice President and General Manager, EA Partners. ”At EAP, we are deeply committed to giving the industry’s elite independent developers a platform to launch their creations to a worldwide audience. Tim Schafer is known for some of the richest stories and characters in our industry, and with Jack Black offering his vocal styling’s for Eddie Riggs, we are extremely excited to help Tim and his talented team at Double Fine see their vision come to fruition.”
Good to see this will not be canceled. I love the games he is involved in. And I love EA, always have and always will.
