I have to do a work about clonage for my english class.
So...i want your opinions. Please be nice and post your thoughts.

Should human cloning be legalizated?Why?
Supossing you are a parent and your baby dies. Do you think is nice clone your baby after he/she died? Same thing for pets?
Do you think humans clones should have same rights and dutys than "real people"?
Do you agree what you have senn in "The Island"?Should clones be used to transplate organs to their owners?Do you think is right have a clone so you can live forever?
Are you scary about clonage?
Is there any point on clonage?
Do you agree with babys á līcarte?(chose how your baby is going to be: eye clour, personality......

Are you against cloange or in favour? Lets have a nice debate here.

Cloning could be legalized, but i don't think most people will realise the consequences, say if they wanted a family member cloned. Retaining memories, emotion or any type of personal trait may be different, even despite the genetic code being completely the same.
I wouldn't think it would be right for me to say clone my dead baby, or pet, emotionally it wouldn't be right, for the pet or child will only genetically be the same as your pet or child you previously had.

From what i last heard they are close to using cloned organs from pigs in order for use in a human transplant, i'd say its rather necessary considering donor lists are relatively struggling within having healthy organs to transplant.

I don't think it's the case of a clone, and you will live for ever, you wont. It's a different person, with the same DNA code as yours.

As for a point towards cloning, i can see the point in able to be able to breed animals for either meat or transplant. Other than that, i see nothing more.

And 'Do you agree with babys á līcarte?(chose how your baby is going to be: eye clour, personality......'

You cannot choose a personality for a child to be, of course I've heard of people going abroad in order for performances of choosing of the sex of their unborn child, which i find immensely stupid.
Depending on the dominant gene you get what you choose, how you raise the child is more important than their sex.
Maybe they wouldn't be such a mormon if people knew how to raise their children correctly.

Thanks to your answer Cathryn. I agree with you in every things you said.
When i talked about live forever i meant have a clone so if any of your organs is damaged you could transplate the organs from your clone to you without the risk of imcompatibility.
Thanks for saying that thing about the pigs. Its valuable imformation for me.
