Gundam vs. Star Wars

Both are tremendous successful franchises but often times are compared. Often times however its the demographics that are dictating who really is superior (http://www.dannychoo.com/adp/eng/788/Gundam+VS+Starwars.html).

So if all of the Gundam series went head to head to the Star Wars series, who would win?

Star Wars, dayum. It's mythology is nearly endless, besides, its presentation makes it more appealing, IMO.

Gundam doesn't follows a storyline, it's all separated, albeit each story is superbly engineered. My favourite is MS Gundam Wing.

Definitely Star Wars. My brother and I would watch it all the time, so I basically grew up with it. ^_^

i love both sooooooo much but i think gundam deserves some love just because its been going just as long and have more storys to tell in each series and i each series doesnt really disappoint unlike the prequel trilogy of starwars.

If you were to put these two series in the same universe and they all went on an all out war, Gundam would so win the battles. I like both because of how epic they are and because of the sci-fi fantasy concept behind the two. But, Gundam is mainly anime and an action genre.

Yeah, Star Wars. I'm not a huge fan of the main trilogy, but the side stories are pretty good. Better than Gundam, at least.

Yeah I like it, so what? Just like Luri said, the storyline is endless and it's so diverse.

Even though i'm more closer attached to the Gundam series, I like both series equally.
