Japan: PS3 regains it's lead over Xbox 360

Looks like a game release is all the PS3 needed to get back on top in Japan. Last week Japan got LBP and GTA IV which boosted PS3 sales up to 39,587 units sold, even beating the Wii. I'm glad that people are finally starting to get over that mess :aldo: If this trend keeps up it's going to make up the numbers it lost against the 360's lead if it hasn't already.

However, the Xbox 360 is still selling at the same rate which has also probably benefited from the GTA IV release, and because hardware has been outselling software on Xbox 360 for the past few weeks there's little reason to believe these numbers will drop further.

Oh yeah, forgot about that. :wtf: You're right, unless PS3 stays around 20-30k. I can't see the Xbox 360 going past 30k in Japan, but it might happen. It made it up to 30k when Infinite Undiscovery was released (I think) and I'd say The Last Remnant will likely be as popular as that.

You know what's sad about how people bought 360's just for Infinite Undiscovery? That game sucked and it's like only 20 hours or something, alot of people were dissappointed by it. But then again Last Remnant looks to be so much better and I hope it is cuz I plan on getting it when it's released on ps3.

We rented it and we could barely get through the first few hours. The little kids, "penguin parade", and "DANCING RHAPSODY" every 10 seconds really pissed me off.

haha yeah my co worker stopped playing it. He even gave it a chance. I also heard it's short so I wouldn't waste my time with a short RPG. I also heard the first couple hours are the worse.
