like light to the flies has plenty of dirty singing. Its not really their best song. I think its Dying in your arms that is taking the spotlight. Try listening to it. It has more clean singing plus a great guitar solo

They're pretty much OK for a BM band, but they performed terribly as a warm-up for Maiden a couple of years back....

I love them. Saw em live a couple of eeks ago with Slayer on the Unholy Alliance Chapter 3. I got to play Paolo's bass when he jumped in the crowd :D

I've followed them since Ascendancy and IMO they get better with every album. They got alot of stick with The Crusade because it's apparently a Metallica rip off (which I think, being a fan of both bands, is a load of crap) but so far I haven't heard much criticism on Shogun.

Paolo Gregolleto is also one of the people who inspired me to pick up the bass (which also led to me picking up lead guitar afterwards). Playing his bass with him was like a dream for me.

My brother's a huge fan, I haven't really listened to their music but I trust my brother's taste in music. :)

I love trivium!. Best thing to happen to metal since sliced bread my friends.I only own crusade and shogun(both witch are insanely good cd's,and btw shogun is the metal cd of the year imo)because ember and ascendency are so damn hard to find lol.I've been playing guitar for 5 years now but i stoped after like 3 years for a good while because i could find nothing good to play anymore(i love oldies like pink,led,deep,slayer,maiden but i don't enjoy playing there music) but then a friend showed me trivium,i feel in love right away and starting playing guitar again to learn there stuff.
