I am a TWEWY player and and avid Yoshiya worshiper- excuse me, I mean fan- and have heard some rather bad things about this site. Hah. Bad things attract me. One of my friends in particular was telling me NOT to come, as he said that the mods were horrible and whatnot, but I'd rather see first hand.

My feelings aren't easily hurt, and I don't nessessarily care if you don't like me, but I do not care for blatant rudeness. Heh. Also, don't take me too seriously.

I think the problem is a lot of our members have been waiting 2 years for something worthwhile to be released about these games and when nothing happens, they get disillusioned and bitter. That negativity manifests in such a way that they become pure evil and seek out others to make miserable. When someone starts a thread without searching to see if it already exists it pisses people off and they want blood.

One side-effect though is that everyone is always sexually charged so that makes up for it. Also if people think we're strict here, I hate to think what will happen when they join other forums.

The site has recently gained many new users because of TGS 2008. This has led to a bit of chaos as many of them are disregarding the rules or are testing their limits. Though I am not even a moderator or anything and thus am not certain, I believe this forum was designed to both be a place for people to have fun and discuss things but it also to serve as a place to get news about Fabula Nova Crystallis series. The moderators have been working hard to make this news easier to access and have had to be quite strict with some persistent members who clog the forums with distracting posts. This may come off as rude or mean but they are just doing their jobs on the site. Compared to many forums, this is one is far more lenient.
Anyway, welcome again and I hope you stick around.

Lol, as far as rules and strictness goes, you should be aware that different rules apply to different people with different levels of perception and judgment. If this forum is notorious for the inaffability of moderators, it may as well be renowned for the number of blatantly rude or presumptuous members who have recently increased in number. To be honest, from my previous experiences in other forums, this is the only forum where SOME members care little about forum rules and double posting. Moderators here aren't horrible; they are merely doing their job in what appears to outsiders to be in "harsh" ways.

I think you're doing the right thing here - experience, not believe. Even though I am not a moderator, I believe that the current measures being used to handle multiple account creators and spammers are the only methods that moderators can resort to, and not because of depression :wtf:

But ofcourse 99% of the people here are excellent :cookie:
