JUST LOVE

This is my first story in english. Maybe it's a fanfiction to VersusXIII, I don't know how to describe it.


~ JUST LOVE ~

Prologue

It was a long working day for him. The stars over his head sparkled on the night sky like little splints of crystalls on a darkblue velvet. The young man sighted.
< Who are you? >, he thought helpless.
Since three days he couldn't sleep any more. A few days ago he dreamt of a young women with darkgrey hair. She seemed to be an angel, but she had no white wings like angels...
Suddenly he heard someone's voice. He twinkled and turned around.
"Hey, Vherzuil! What are you thinking of today's film sequence? Do you like it?"
It was Nia, the actress of the little sister of his character. The only sexteen year old girl was everything but not shy. Vherzuil smiled a little bit as he saw her enthusiasm. He raised one eyebrow.
"Well, I went down so many steps that my feet hurt."
She laughed.
"Yeah, I watched you through the monitors. You were just great! You see, your work is very important."
He shook his head.
"Oh no! Don't say this! I'm only the actor of the..."
"Main character!", she broke in on him.
"Yes...", he said quietly and looked at her thoughtfully.
Nia smiled abashed, said good-bye to him and went to her best friend Seela, who stands on the other side of the street. Vherzuil greeted Seela and went away.

Chapter 1

"And?", Seela asked Nia intented.
The sixteen year old girl gave a strand of her brown hair behind her ear.
"What have you two talked about?"
"Nothing important."
"Did he asked you about the woman he saw?"
"No."
Seela sighted.
"You should tell him."
"And what do you think should I say to him? Like: < Hey, Vherzuil, I love you! I'm the one you saw in your dream. And, hey! It wasn't a dream! You only thought that you have slept at that time. > Oh, please Seela! Don't be silly!"
She looked down into her cup of tea. Her glance was sad when she looked at Seele again.
"He will never love me", she ment quietly. "He's twenty! He thinks I'm just a girl. Nothing more."
Seela shook her head.
"Oh man! We have a lot of work to do! I don't want to make cases on myself if this would end in tragedy! Come on! We have to make tracks! Let's see what Seela has in her treasure chest for your little dreamprince."
Nia laughed and Seela smiled.

"Come out!", a voice shouted.
Vherzuil opened his eyes.
< Well, this is my work >, he thought. < And I love it. >
He stood up from his seat and paced through the big halls until he stood behind the open entrance. And he saw...
"And CUT!!!"
Vherzuil looked around. It wasn't dark here as in the story. And he wasn't alone with many soldiers who wanted him to be dead...
"Thanks for your acting, Vherzuil!", director Tanaka said to the about twenty year old man. "We have to do this sequence once more again, after breakfast."
Vherzuil nodded, sat down on a chair and waited for his friends. After a while his best friend Raidon arrived.
"Hey, Vherzuil!", he said to him. "What's going on?"
"Nothing interesting at present. I only shot the new opening scene."
"Oh yes, I've seen it! Very nice your glance at all these..."
He turned over and looked at the three big cameras and the members of the filmcrew, those who were running around.
"...people. Was it enjoyable?"
"Very enjoyable", Vherzuil said with sarcasm. "The floodlight dazzled me, and there was no backgroundmusic during my appearance, but it was...enjoyable, of course."
Raidon smirked and sat down near Vherzuil when they heard a well known voice.
"Hey guys!"
"Nia!", said the actor of the prince surprised. "Where were you? I've missed you the last hours!"
Nia blushed.
"Oh...äh...well...I..."
She looked on Vherzuil and sighted.
"Well...I hate you!"
Then she went away without saying another word.
Raidon made a amazed face.
"Wow! No woman said that to me! You're a lucky man, Vherzuil."
He tapped him on the shoulder. The young man nodded thoughtfully.
"I hope so."

"You will not guess what happend to me today!", Vherzuil told Nia, when he sat down next to her for dinner. "I overslept the beginning of the shot. The cameras were just running and I slept on the throne like a baby."
Nia laughed.
"Only you can do such things like that! What did Takana-san?"
"He let me sleep. When I woke up he told me it was the best shot ever."
The girl smiled.
"Do you think that was a compliment?"
Vherzuil showed a big grin.
"We'll see."
Raidon talked with Seela. Nia kept still. During the whole time Vherzuil watched her. He loved the way she shook her head when she was surprised of something. He loved the way she smiled at him. Suddenly he realised that he never wanted to release her.

"Raidon, you are now the only one who could help me!", Vherzuil said to his friend later.
"What's up?"
"I fell in love."
The lightbrown haired guy raised his eyebrows.
"Congratulations! Who is she?"
"Don't speak so loud!", he fizzled. "She's here!"
"Where < here >?", Raidon asked and looked around. "Does she has a name?"
"Yes, of course she has!"
Vherzuil sighted.
"And she is younger than me."
"What's your problem?"
"I can't go to her and say: < Hey, Nia! How are you this morning? By the way, I fell in love with you! And what's about you? > That would be catastrophic!"
"Only in your mind."
"Why are you so cool?! I'm afraid that she'll refuse me."
"She will not."
"Why are you so shure about that?"
"Didn't you registered her attitude the last weeks? She is nervous when she's with you. In my opinion she fell with you in love as well."
"She hates me!", he said downhearted.
"I think she wanted to say another thing. You should ask her."
Vherzuil sighted.
"I'll ask her soon. Thanks."
Raidon smirked.

Chapter 2

"Nokuto, no! I will not approve it!", she resisted to him.
The two stood in the throne room. It was the time before the final battle. Vherzuil noticed the light, which let Nias hair glinted. Surrounded by the whole film crew he had to concentrate, but his problem was that he couldn't. Nearly too late he recogniced that Nia already said her text. Nokuto looked a little bit surprised.
"Why? I will not die. You know that I'm unbeaten."
Nia showed her most determined countenance.
"I will NOT reign this city! NO!"
"You don't have to. I'm still the prince here."
"I'll kill you if you go out there!!", she screamed at him.
"Please, come down a bit! I'm not in danger..."
"He told me if you go to this meeting he'll kill you!", she said trembling and looked up to him. "He found out how to break you crystallshield. You'll not protected in battle!"
Nokuto turned pale, but then he recollected himself.
"I have no alternative", he ment quietly. "I'm sorry, sis. Maybe this is the last moment we have."
"I'm so sorry that I can't fight with you", she told him sad. "I would give all to protect you."
"I know", he countered. "Fare well."
He turned around and went away.
"I'm sorry, I can't focus!"
She excused herself and looked at Takana.
"Cut then! Thank you all!"
Vherzuil waited for her in the mask.
"You were just great!", he told her exalted. "I thought you would get worried about the new dialogue, but you were cool as ever."
Nia smiled.
"Oh, you were great too! Your glance in the beginning was...perfect!"
"There is only one scene left", he said hushed.
"Yes, Nokuto will die. Wounderful", she ment with sarcasm.
"You don't like the end, do you?"
"Why should I like it? What's likeable about it?", she asked him disquietingly.
"I'm sorry. I don't want you to..."
"No", she interrupted him without anger. "I'm sorry. I don't wanted to talk to you like this."
He nodded and gazed at her with excitement.
"Do you really hate me?", he asked her.
"Huh?"
The brown haired girl looked at her comrade. She was astonished as she saw the pain in his eyes.
"You said that you hate me. Is that true?"
"No", she said quietly and shook her head. The young man sighted relieved.
"Then why have you said it to me? I'm confused about it." < You have hurt me with these words. >
"Well, I..."
Nia looked up to him with anguish. He saw her fear with surprise. She tried to speak, but she couldn't disclose her feelings for him.
"You made me nervous", she gave an evasive answer.
< Raidon is right! >, he thought astonished. "Why?"
< He makes me insane with his questions! >, the sixteen year old girl thought.
< What should I answer him? I can't tell him the truth! He wouldn't understand
me. >
The twenty year old actor sighted.
"Okay then. I have a problem. Maybe you can help me."
"What is it?", she asked immediatly, cheery that he changed the topic.
He gazed at her thoughtfully.
"I've dreamt of a young woman with darkgrey hair. I was confused about it, but since I saw her I have realiced that I..."
He looked into Nias eyes.
"That I...Well it's quite tough for me to say it..."
"Hey, you two! What are you doing here?!", Raidon shouted when he came into the maskroom. "Don't be lazy! We have so much work to do!"
Vherzuil rolled his eyes. Nia just shook her head.
"What are you guys up to?", the light-brown haired man asked them amazed about their silence. "Have I bother you? Sorry, if I..."
He looked at Vherzuil.
"I apologize", he said quietly and bow like Yuna. Then he went out and closed the door.
Vherzuil and Nia looked at each other and broke out in laugh.
After a while Vherzuil get seriously again.
"Do you want to walk with me? It's a little stuffy here."
She nodded. They went out of the mask room and promenaded in the big Palacegarden.
"What you wanted to tell me?", Nia asked him a bit later.
He stopped and stood now in front of her.
"Promise me, that we'll be friends further on."
"We'll always be friends!", she said surprised and nooded. "I promise."
< What's so hard for him to say?" >, she asked herself helpless.
"Okay. Ähm...I fell in love..."
< Oh no! >, Nia thought aghasted.
"...with you."
"What?!"
"Yeah, I know I'ts crazy!", Vherzuil said ashamed. "Forget about it."
He moved along, when Nia realized his words.
"No! I would'nt!", she decided.
Vherzuil stopped abruptly and turned around.
"Why not?"
"Because I...", she attempted to answer and burst into tears.
Vherzuil went back to her and looked at her appalled. He hug her charily.
"Hey...", he whispered gently.
"I...love...you too."
Vherzuil was frozen. He thought he had problems with his ears. Nia looked up to him and looked him in the eye.
"I thought you will not understand my feelings for you", she admited.
Vherzuils head was blank.
"Well, ...thanks for telling me! I'm very relieved now."
"So I am", she said and smiled at him. He smiled back and he thought that the stars twinkled lighter that night as before...

Hmn... lemme guess. Vherzuil is the Prince, Seela is the Skirtgirl, Nia is... the new girl, Raidon is someone new too, maybe the Shotgun Guy. Right?I think you'll be surprised now. Yes, Vherzuil plays the prince, and Seela plays that person you think, but I've borrowed the appearence of Nia from Final Fantasy 13. ^^ There she has no name as yet we know. I've seen only a few pics of her. She inspired me to create Nia. I know Nias hair is a bit diffrent...(it's the girl in my avatar).
And Raidon is...well, I don't know. Some best friend of Vherzuil. I didn't have thought about it so far. There are no limits for your fantasia. ^^

Im very impressed, a story who the chars are final fantasy versus xiii actors is a interesting and genial idea. I hope i could write like you. I love storys.
Cant wait for chapter 3. You sure are a writer. I cant imagine how yu write in your first language,

Thanx, Moklin! ^_^ I write in my mother languarge since I was eight years old. It was hard work to get there where I'm now, but it was also fun.^^

Chapter 3

"Hey guys!", Seela called Vherzuil and Nia who have just returned from the Palacegardens. "What's going on?"
Nia and Vherzuil smiled at each other.
"Should I say it?", she asked him.
He smiled happy.
"If you wish."
"Say what?", Seela repeated.
"Well", the brown-haired girl said. "Vherzuil is my bofriend now."
"You're kidding!", laughed Seela. She looked to Vherzuil, who smiled big. "You're not?!"
"It's true", he comfirmed.
"Oh, that's wounderful! I share my happiness with you two!"
Vherzuil laid his arms around Nia.
"Well, I'll let you alone now! Bye!", Seela announced and went away.
"She's a little bit surprised, isn't she?", Vherzuil ment.
Nia laughed and nodded.

Next morning...
"Vherzuil? Where are you?", Nia shouted out of the bathroom.
"Still sleeping", he mumbled.
"You have to stand up!", she called on him.
"Why?", he asked without opening his eyes.
"Because Tanaka-san said that the fight scenes are rubbish."
"He did'nt!", countered stunned.
Now he was awaken. He sat up in bed and looked at Nia who had a grin on her lips.
"No, he didn't!", she shook her head.
Vherzuil rolled his eyes.
"And for what you've wake me up now?", he numbled.
"Well, I just wanted to talk with you, honey!", she told him.
"Don't call me that!"
"Then tell me how I should call you, honey!"
"Argh!", he made. "Everything, but not honey!"
"Okay."
She sat next to him on the bed and gazed at him.
"What is it?", he asked her after a while.
"Nothing important. I'm just looking at you."
"I see. Then continue it. I'll take a shower now."
Nia watched him as he went into the bathroom.
"You can come with me, if you want", he invited her.
He was amazed that she really followed him. He got nervous.
"Okay, now turn around please, 'cause I'm a bit shy."
"That's unfair, honey."
"Right!", he said shortspoken and pulled the curtain between her and him.
The sixteen year old actress sat down on a chair. Vherzuil thought about the situation.
He didn't wanted to talk to her like this. He sighted and focused on the hot water and closed his eyes. Tonight he has dreamt of Nia. She talked with Raidon. Suddenly his best friend kissed her and Nia did nothing to stop him! Stupid dream.
Vherzuil felt a deep pain in his left leg. He opened his eyes again, looked down and saw a great effusion of blood. He furrowed one eye-brow.
< Where did I get this? >, he asked himself. He couldn't remember it.
Then he recollected how the nightmare went on. He got so angry that he has killed Raidon, but a second Raidon came and then another. He killed every Raidon. After he thought he killed every Raidon on this planet, Nia asked him what he has done and why. He didn't now what to say. She started crying and he turned around and walked away. Then he woke up.
< Am I jealous? >, he thought. < No, it's only a silly nightmare, nothing more. >
"Verzuil?", he heard Nias voice behind the curtain. "Don't you burn? You're over ten minutes in the shower!"
Vherzuil nodded and came out. Nia has closed her eyes and he was thankful because of that.
"You can look now!", he told her a bit later. "Thanks for don't watching me."
She didn't answered when she opened her eyes. Vherzuil found no way, but he felt that she has changed since yesterday. Something in her gaze told him that.

Later he met Raidon on the set.
"Hey, lucky guy! What's up?", the light-brown-haired man asked him. "I've heard that you and Nia were together last night. Is that true?"
"Correct."
< Please, don't ask me about it! >, Vherzuil prayed.
"And? How was it?", asked Raidon with an big grin.
< Shit! >
"Was what?", the twenty year old actor asked back as unsuspecting as possible.
"Come on!", Raidon ment. "You don't want to tell me, that you two didn't made love, do you?"
Vherzuil sighted soundless.
"I not only want to tell you, I do."
He looked Raidon in the eye. His respondent was stunned.
"That's...but...! What have you guys done all night? Talking?!"
< Have I already said "shit" before? >, Vherzuil thought droopy.
"Well, not all time. We've slept too, but not...well, you know what I mean."
"You're like an angel, Vherzuil!", Raidon replied and shook his head. "I don't understand you! She's cute, she loves you, she wants you..."
"How do you know?", Vherzuil asked. A dangerous sparkle was now in his gaze as he looked at his best friend. He thought about his nightmare. Why was he so alarmed?
Raidon didn't realised the alteration of Vherzuil. He shook only his head.
"Know, know! That's clear for everyone here! And you are doing nothing."
"You know I've never had a partnership before, and that I hate One-night-stands. I've enough from all that facile stuff!"
He stood abruptly up from the chair he has sat on when he started talking with Raidon.
"I apologize, that I'm not like you!"
Then he went away without saying another word. His friend stared at him befuddled.
"What's with him?", Seela asked Raidon with surprise.
"I think she had a bad dream", he ment shrugging. "I had a nightmare too. I've dreamt that I've kissed Nia and Vherzuil killed me, but I came back many times. He always killed me. After a while I woke up. Weird nightmare! Nothing more."
Seela raised one eye-brow. She recollected that Nia told her this dream too...

I thank you, Yue, for your review too. ^^ When I was a child I wanted to become a writer, but after years I decided only to write for fun.

I wrote chap 3 late at night. I feared it would be very bad, because I was so tired at that time. I'm glad that it isn't.^^

Chapter 4

"No, Nokuto! No! Don't die! Please, no!", his sister begged her brother who lied on the ground.
"And...CUT!"
Vherzuil opened his eyes and looked up to Nia. She rejoined his gaze. Suddenly she felt his hand on her neck. He forced her to bow down to him until their faces were less than a few centimeters away from each other. She felt his warm breath at her face.
"Please", he whispered to her quietly. "Kiss me..."
Nia got blush.
"I...I can't!", she refused. "I don't know how. I've never made it before!"
Vherzuil smiled.
"You are so cute, do you know that?"
She stared at him stunned.
"I think my face is now red like a tomato", she assumed.
"It's more than that."
"Thanks! That was what I wanted to hear now", Nia ment. "Well, I'll try, but please..."
She looked at him very shy.
"I wouldn't do anything you don't want", he promised.
Nia attempted to hide her uptightness.
"Don't think about it that much."
She brought herself to do it and laid her lips on his. Vherzuil closed his eyes and responded her kiss tenderly. He attracted her as close as possible to him. They forgot everything around them.
"Hey, you two! Take a room!", Raidon sudenly called and smirked.
Nia abandoned the kiss and looked Vherzuil in the eye.
"I love you", she whispered.
He smiled happily.
"I love you too, my little angel."
"Here are too many angels!", Raidon mumbled near them. "You guys make me crazy!"
Vherzuil just laughed.
"I'll do some cosplay...", the light-brown-haired guy decided with stagy gravity.
"And as whom you'll go?", Nia asked him.
"As [Sin] of couse!"
"Have fun!", Vherzuil replied with a big grin. "And please excuse us now, we've many things to do."
Raidon esamined his friends surprised.
"Should I send a gurdian for your door, Vherzuil?"
Vherzuil gave a shrug.
"If you want. We would do nothing important. Only..."
He smiled at Nia and lingered with her out of the studio. In the meantime Raidon went to Takanas flat to ask him about a costume of [Sin].

Chapter 5

After dinner Raidon sat alone in the living room of the studios and sawed his costume. Through the two windows he could see the ocean of light sparkles of the city. Dipped in the dark the huge towers of the skyscrapers seemed like a great fortress.
Raidon sighted when he suddenly heard a known voice.
"I hail you, Raidon."
"It's my pleasure to hear you again, Mylady", he said without raising his head.
"And you're sure that you want to go as [Sin]? Is there no any other character you want to choose?"
"If I were you, I would say now what you want. You' are the only one who could send me this dream."
"Was it really a dream for you?"
"What do you want?", he asked impatiently.
"I only wanted to remember you what you have to do."
"I'll do it! And now let me alone! I've to finish this here by tomorror."
"So many memories of so many worlds are used as stories in games in this world...Don't you think that's curious?"
"Well, I'm not from here", he said. "When you'll come?"
"Soon."
"I'll wait for you, Mylday."
"Farewell."
Raidon sighted.
"Well then", he said to himself. "It's time to go home."

Meanwhile Nia and Vherzuil arrived in his flat.
"Do you want something to drink?", he asked her.
"Yes, please", she answered and looked abouve his shoulder into the fridge. "What do you have?"
"Mmm...let's see. Coke, orange juice, iced tea...nothing with alcohol, I apologize."
"No problem. I'l like some orange juice."
The twenty year old guy took the juices and went with Nia into the bedroom.
"Who will sleep this night on the sofa?", she asked him with a big smile.
"I don't know if you would want it, but if you want, you could..."
He looked at her shyly.
"I love it when you're around me", he wispered.
Nia realised what Vherzuil was going to tell her.
"I...", she said astonished. "I want."
He raised one eye-brow.
"Really?"
"Only sleep. Nothing more."
He smiled happy.
"If you can...The bed is too slender for both of us."
"That's no problem!", she countered gently. "I can sleep everywhere."
"Upon me too?", he asked.
"If you want", she said and smiled shyly.

Chapter 6

"Are you sleeping?", Vherzuil asked Nia after a while.
Nia laid on him.
"No", she mumbled sleepy. "Why?"
"You lie on my stomach."
She chuckled.
"And? Does it hurt?"
"Hey! That's not fair! I'm not your mattress!"
The sixteen year old girl laughed louder. Vherzuil smiled. He couldn't see her good enough, because it was dark in the room.
"I can't understand why lovers always sleep in one bed. It's uncomfortable, isn't it?"
"No."
"No?!", he replied. "I'm not too hot for you?"
She giggled and the young man realised then what he has said.
"You're so funny! No, you're not, Vherzuil. At least I don't need a hot-water bag when I'm with you."
"I haven't seen it in that way before."
He shooked his head and smiled. Nia raised her head.
"Don't even think about to move!", she told him and rolled over to the other side.
"I was wrong", he said quitely. "I am your mattress."
Nia smiled and kissed him. Vherzuil rejoined her kiss with more passion that he wanted first. He was astonished that she answered his responses with not less passion. Then Nia changed her position a bit and Vherzuil grimaced. He quitted the kiss.
"Promise me, that you will not switch on the light!"
Nia raised one eye-brow.
"Okay, I promise. What's wrong, Vherzuil?"
"Well", he answered. "I need a cold shower yet."
She stood up as charily as possible and let him go into the bathroom.
After a while he came out and went back to her.
"Better now?"
He nodded weary.
"I think we should sleep", he mumbled. "I'm tired."
"I'm tired too", she ment. "I'll sleep on the sofa."
She went to him, took his face into her hands and caressed his cheeks with her fingers.
"Whenever you want to..."
The brown-haired girl looked up to him and smiled a bit. Vherzuil understood her words first later, when Nia already was sleeping.

Chapter 7

"Good morning!", Raidon greeted his friends on the set.
Seela looked at him with surprise.
"Where is your costume?", she asked him. "Nia told me all about it."
The light-brown-haired guy sighted.
"I wanted to speak with you about all that stuff. I need your help, Seela."
"Really? Why?"
"Tomorror evening there will be a stag party for all, and I thought we could make a cosplay contest."
"That's a good idea!", Seela said with a smile. "Does Tanaka agree with it?"
Raidon smirked.

He wispered the rest into her ear. Nia looked at the two with interest. Vherzuil was sitting next to her.
"What do you think does he tell her?"
Vherzuil shrugged.
"Did you hear about the Cosplay?", she asked him.
He nodded.
"Will you take part in it?"
"Of course, I will!", he said and smiled. "And you?"
"Yes."
"And as whom you'll go?", he asked her intented.
Nia smirked.
"You'll see."
Vherzuil raised one eye-brow.
"Hey, guys!", an intimately voice sounded.
All raised up their heads. Crystallis stood in front of them in her white, full-length, glittering dress. "How are you?"
"Fine, thank you!", said Nia for all and smiled. "Where do you come from?"
"From Dark City", she told them and sat down next Vherzuil. "I'm sorry, that I'm so late, but Noctis held me up. He has a big problem."
She gazed at Vherzuil and sighted quietly.
"He fell in love with..."
"Let me advise!", Seela asked for. "It's Lightning."
"Yes!", Crystallis replied astonished. "How do you know?"
"It was only a feeling of mine."
"What's the problem?", Raidon asked. "Is he too shy to tell her?"
She smiled.
"You know Noctis, it's hard for him to tell somebody about his feelings."
"Hey, you're his best friend!", Raidon ment and smirked.
"That's true, but I can't help him, 'cause...well, when I fell in love...that's too long ago."
Crystallis gazed at Vherzuil.
"I thought you could help him, Vherzuil."
The young actor was surpised.
"Think about it. And what's going on here, dear friends?", she asked them.
"Well, there will be that cosplay tomorror", Raidon started to tell.

Chapter 8

While Seela, Nia, and Raidon were in the mask room to figure out how to make their costumes for the cosplay, Vherzuil met Crystallis in the Palacegardens.
Vherzuil looked up to the lightblue sky.
"What's really going on with Noctis?", he asked Crystallis.
The young woman gave a strand of her white hair behind her left ear.
"You can't tell me that he fell in love with Lightning."
"It's a long story", she said and sighted. "Two months ago your father died."
Vherzuil stopped abruptly and turned his head to gazed at her.
"How?"
"Poison."
The twenty year old man shooked his head.
"I've seen him three years ago. Now he's dead. I can't believe it! And Noctis?"
"He doesn't show any feelings."
Vherzuil nodded.
"I think it's time to go home."
"You'll return?"
"After the party I'll go."
"What's with Nia? I thought you fell in love with her."
"She's my girlfriend. Well, I have to make a decision. I can't stay here any longer, that's for sure.
What said Oncle Rakardos about father's death?", he wanted to know.
Crystallis raised one aye-brow.
"You will not believe it, but he has cried."
Vherzuil shooked his head.
"What do you think?", she asked him.
"I think Rakardos wants to kill us all to get the crown, but I will not allow that he'll kill Noctis. He's the only brother I have, and I'll protect him, even if I would die!", he said determined.
They talked then about some other things and later they walked back to the studios.

Vherzuil found Nia in his flat.
"Where were you?"
"I've talked a bit with Crystallis", he answered and kissed her.
A few minutes later he sat on his bed and gazed at her thoughtfully.
"What is it?", she asked him concerned.
"My father is dead."
"Oh, I'm sorry!", she said dismayed. "How?"
"Murdred."
Vherzuil saw her pale face.
"And...who do you think have done such a...terrible thing?"
"In my opinion it was my oncle Rakardos, my fathers younger brother. He was always so jealous. He wants to be king and he would do everything for his wish to come true."
The young actor nodded. He was sad.
"My family is cruel, I know. Don't think about to marry me, my little angel. It could brake your wings."
Nia shooked her head.
"I don't need wings to fly..."
She smiled a bit.
"...with you."
"Do you want to tell me something?", he asked her with a smile and looked her in the eye.
He thought to sank into her grey eyes.
< It would brake my heart to leave you behind >, he thought and felt pain.
Nia kissed him and he forgot all his sadness for a few moments.

Chapter 9

In the afternoon Vherzuil and Nia met their friends in the mask room. Raidon has finished his [Sin] costume, and was preparing the other costumes.
"We have a surprise for you!", Raidon said without greeting his best friend.
He gave Vherzuil a package.
"And this is for you!", Seela said to Nia and gave her another packet.
"Open it!", Seela asked her for and smiled.
Nia and Vherzuil did it and were more than surprised.
"We thought it would be good for you guys to have some fun!", Raidon told them and smiled also.
"I don't understand...", Vherzuil said confused.
He looked at Raidon.
"Was it your idea?"
Raidon laughed.
"No", he answered. "It was Crystallis."
"Yours?", the young actors woundered.
The white-haired women nodded.
"It's time to choose, Vherzuil. What do you want?", she asked him.
Nobody knew the second meaning of her meanings besides Vherzuil.
"I'll do it!", he decided. "I'm like him. I will never give her up!"
"Whom?", Nia asked him.
"You", he wispered calm.
He hid his sadness behind a confident smirk.

"We don't want to keep you in suspense!", Tanaka told.
It was half past seven o'clock in the evening. The party was in full yctivity. Vherzuil and his friends stood in the next room and waited for their performance. He looked at Nia who sat on the window sill. She didn't look glad. Vherzuil went to her.
"How are you?", he asked her quietly.
"I think I'm a little bit nervous", she answered. "What if I would say something wrong? I like my role, but she's a little bit, yes...I don't know. She reminds me of myself."
"Yeah!", Vherzuil ment. "My character reminds me also of myself. "He's somehow like I am. I wonder, if we would be friends, if he would really exist."
Nia smiled.
"Entry number 2 in this contest: from Kingdom Hearts II: Kairis problem's with Sora!"
Adrend screams filled the hall. Vherzuil and Nia went out on the stage.

Kairi and Sora promenaded on the beach.
"Sora?"
"Huh?"
"I want to say you something."
"Go ahead."
"Well! There is..."
Suddenly Sora began to look around.
"What is it?", she asked him.
"My keyblade...I have...Haven't I...?"
He gazed at Kairi, who sighted.
"I've lost it somewhere..."
"Sora!"
"Hm?"
"You're so oblivious!", she groaned and rolled her eyes.
"Ah?"
He didn't really noticed her words.
Kairi went around him.
"I can't do anything without you!", she told him and sighted again. "SORA!"
"Wait a sec!", he said. "Did you hear that?"
"Hear what?"
Nia gazed at Vherzuil with surprise. He just stood in front of her and listen to something she couldn't hear.
"What?", she asked again.
Vherzuil shook his head.
"I'm sorry!", he wispered, so only Nia could hear him. "I've lost my line!"
"Oh, Sora!", Kairi said. "You're so...! Come on now!"
Vherzuil looked at her astonished when Nia took his right hand.
"You don't need a keyblade anymore! I love you, Sora!"
"Äh...Kairi...", he ment confused. Vherzuil has found his line again.
"Hm?"
"I've a little problem..."
"Yes?"
"What's your name?"
The public laughed. Vherzuil and Nia left the stage. Takana appeared, still looking at the two actors.
"Yeah, I think Sora needs a new commemoration", he said and smirked. "Next entry, number 3..."

"I'm glad that you've helped me, Nia!", Vherzuil said after they were back in the room next the stage. "I can't believe that I really forgot my text."
She smiled.
"Nia, I've to told you something."
Vherzuil looked down on his feet.
"I have to go back home. Noctis needs my help. I think he's in great danger."
Nia nodded.The twenty year old man gazed at her so sad that she felt pain in her heart.
"I can't take you with me."
"When do you'll come back?"
She saw his eyes filled with tears.
"I...I will never come back."
"Vherzuil!", Nia called him a little bit too loud. Frightened she cringed. "I...understand that... Noctis needs your help, but..."
Nia shooked her head. She was drenched in tears.
"I can't live without you anymore!", she wispered quietly.
Vherzuil hugged her and snuggled her closed to him.
"I'm so sorry", he said in a low voice. "I would change it if I could."
He kissed her once more. Then he went out of the room. Nia was still staring at the door were he left when her friends came back from the stage. She felt that Vherzuil has left this world.

"You look tired, my dear friend!", the young man with the light-brown hair heard a voice.
"Well, I am tired", he ment.
"She doesn't remember it, does she?", the red-haired, tall man ansked.
"Mhm", his friend only made.
"Do you like her?"
"Alexander!", snuffled Raidon. "You know, that I've a girlfriend!"
"Don't call me that!", the other man said. "I hate this code-name!"
"Alexander" shooked his head.
"She will not survive without him. She can't! We have to do something, Ro...Raidon!"
"Yeah, but what? The Ke...oh shit! Please, don't bother me with all that! I can't hear it anymore!"
"You have to listen, dear friend!", Alexander sang with a silly voice. Then he was serious again. "It happened four years ago. I thought it would have an end, but there was no end! I think it's a never ending story."
He sighted.
"What are you thinking about it?"
"Well, I guess...", the smaller person ment and looked down on his feet. "I will wear my old black coat again. And you?"
The other man laughed.
"I love your humor, Rox...Raidon! We have to go back!", "Alexander", ment. "I can't stand it any longer."

"Hey, there!", Vherzuil called his younger brother who sat on the throne.
Noctis raised one eye-brow.
"Sora! Where have you been?! I've searched everywhere for you!"
Vherzuil stood there in front of the prince and nodded.
"Yeah, I'm sorry, Noct..."
Then he began to jump around and smirked.
"Aaaaand? What's about Lightning?"
"You're so foolish!", Noctis said and smiled a bit.
"I have to be cool in the other world, so I coulnd't be like I am, but...I have to left her...before I..."
He couldn't go on speaking.
"She didn't remember it?", Noctis asked. "If she would remember it, her ke...ahhh, yes!"
Noctis cleared his throat.
"I'm cheery, that you're here, dear brother!"
"Apropos 'dear brother'", Vherzuil replied. "I've lost my heart."
"I thought Kairi has..."
"Of course she has it! However I've forgotten that I have hers too."

I was inspired from the "pigtailed girl" in FFXIII, when I designed Nia. Vherzuil is a copy of Noctis in VersusXIII, but only with his appearance. He is more friendly than Noctis in the game is.^^

Prologue

It was a long working day for him. The stars over his head sparkled on the night sky like little splints of crystalls on a darkblue velvet. The young man sighted.
< Who are you? >, he thought helpless.
Since three days he couldn't sleep any more. A few days ago he dreamt of a young women with darkgrey hair. She seemed to be an angel, but she had no white wings like angels...
Suddenly he heard someone's voice. He twinkled and turned around.
"Hey, Vherzuil! What are you thinking of today's film sequence? Do you like it?"
It was Nia, the actress of the little sister of his character. The only sexteen year old girl was everything but not shy. Vherzuil smiled a little bit as he saw her enthusiasm. He raised one eyebrow.
"Well, I went down so many steps that my feet hurt."
She laughed.
"Yeah, I watched you through the monitors. You were just great! You see, your work is very important."
He shook his head.
"Oh no! Don't say this! I'm only the actor of the..."
"Main character!", she broke in on him.
"Yes...", he said quietly and looked at her thoughtfully.
Nia smiled abashed, said good-bye to him and went to her best friend Seela, who stands on the other side of the street. Vherzuil greeted Seela and went away.

"He wants my heart?", Vherzuil woundered. "Why?"
"Do you remember what the prophecy's are telling? Only the one who has the heart of a prince can be crowned."
"That's werird!"
"I know. And I think Rakardos don't think about the second meaning of these words...the only right version of meaning: it's only an analogy."
The brothers looked at each other thoughtfully.

"Finally you have arrived!"
The two friends looked at a tall man in a darkred robe who stood in front of a thron of violet crystal.
"Xova, I don't know how you've slept tonight, but we're not here to talk about that!", "Alexander" told him.
"I love you too, boy!", Xova said with a smirk.
"Alexander" gazed with hate at him, but he kept silent.
Xova walked around the boy and gazed at him with interest.
"And what about you? You're new here. I've never seen you bef..."
"Roxas."
Xova raised one eye-brow.
"Really?", he asked. "Then you're the third master... That's interesting."
"He's dangerous!", the red-haired guy ment. "You should be careful."
"Shut up, Axel! I've not asked you!", Xova growled, turned round to Roxas and smiled. "If there would be anything I could do for you, just say it. I'll do everything to help you."
"Yeah, there would be one thing", Roxas said arrogant. "Give me the key."
Xova sighted.
"For this you need to be married."
"False", Roxas corrected him. "In the divinations there stood only "you have to be bound"."
"Oh, good! If it is nothing else than this I'm relieved!", Xova replied with sarcasm and rolled his eyes.
"Well, I am bound...", Roxas ment quietly.
Axel looked astonished at him.
"To whom?", Xova asked.
"Organisation XIII."
The man in the darkred robe sighted.
"I would laugh if that would be funny. Roxas, it has to be only a person, you could be bound."
"Fine!", the light-brown boy said and grabbed Axels right hand. "I have now somebody!"
"What?!", Axel asked stunned.
"Just say >yes<", Roxas whispered to him, so only Axel could understand him. "Believe me, Axel! This is our only chance to help Kairi...I mean Nia...well, whatever."
Xova just smirked.
"Well then", he told them. "Please choose who wants to be the bride."
Axel gazed at Roxas.
"I hope we don't make a mistake."
< I hope it too >, Roxas thought, but he smiled confident at his old friend.
"Are you two ready?", Xoxa asked.
They nodded.
"I'll play the bride!"
"Thank's. Now then...Bride Axel, do you want to be bound to Master Roxas?"
Axel sighted.
"Yes!"
"Bridegroom Roxas, do you want to be bound to Axel?"
"Yeah."
"I hate you!", Axel whispered to Roxas.
"Don't think about it. It's just a game. A bad game, but only a game."
"I hope it!", Axel responded and smiled at his friend. "For you."
Xova took Axel's right hand and laid it over Roxas right hand.
"Now you are married! I congratulate you two! Oh, by the way, this bound can never be solved, because it's FOREEVER!"
He broke out in a big laugh and disappeared. Axel gazed with anger at Roxas.
"I was sure it's a mistake to marry you, Roxas!!!"
"Don't bother to be peeved. It doesn't matter."
"How can you be so cool?", Axel asked him furious. "It's forever!"
"Yes...", he said thoughtfully.
"I don't love you, Roxas!"
"I don't love you too, Axel..."
The red-haired guy sighted.
"Everyone says communication is the most important thing in every relationship."
"Yeah", Roxas ment without listening to his friend.
"What are you thinking about?"
"The key..."
"Where is it?"
"It's no > it <..."
"Huh?"
"It's Kairi..."
"I understand precisely nothing."
"I'm sorry, Axel for all that unpleasing stuff", Roxas said tired. "I didn't want to bring you into trouble."
The taller guy looked down at Roxas and smiled a bit.
"No troubles will dislodge me from your side", he countered mild. Then he rolled his eyes. "No kiss yet, this isn't a happy end!"
Roxas smirked.
"I'm so glad that you're not angry with me anymore."
"Well, I think it's not so bad to be your..."
"Friend. Just my best friend. Nothing more."
"That's enough!", Axel ment and smiled happy. < You don't know how much that is...It's more you could ever think of. >

It was in the evening when she stood in front of the window and looked at the horizon. Her black, long hair glared in the cold shine of the streetlights.
"You're still here?", a deep voice sounded.
The girl turned around. A tall man with the a wide red cape came in the little room.
"You can't forget him, can you?"
She shook her head.
"I will never forget him", she replied resolute.
"I know how you're feeling."
"I wish Mum would be here...", she said sadly.
"She is here", he countered. "Here...in our hearts."
The girl smiled consolated and hugged him.
"Dad?"
"Hm?"
"Why are you the fourth master?"
"Well, that's a really long story."
"Tell it! Please!"
Vincent Valentine smiled.
"Coaxed, but then you'll go to bed!"
"Of course I will!", she promised gladly.
"Ähm...Once upon a time, there was a man called Sephiroth..."

At another place at the same time...
"Can you see that?"
"What?", Axels asked.
Axel and Roxas stopped walking.
"This light..."
"I can't even see my own hand", countered Axel.
Roxas looked at him astonished. His friend noticed it.
"What is it? You gaze at me! I can feel it."
"You could ever see in darkness. Did you loose this ability?"
Axel raised one eye-brow.
"Strange. I see very good", the light-brown-haired guy ment.
"Maybe I fade away like the others. Maybe this is just the beginning of it...", Axel mumbled sadly.
"No! I'll disallow it!"
He sat down on the stairs. The red-haired guy turned around.
"You don't cry, do you?", he asked him with surprise.
Roxas kept silent.
Axel felt around and toughed Roxas cheek. It was wet. Axel sat beside him.
"It's amazing what this everlasting bound between us afford."
"Yeah, that's the first time for a long time that I'm crying."
"Please, don't cry anymore! I can't suffer it."
Roxas felt that Axel took his hand and pressed it.
"We're friends forever!", Axel said gently.
"Yes. Forever."
Abruptly a pulsating light appeared.
"What's that?", Axel asked. "A distress call?"
"No...", Roxas reflected. "It's a...heartbeat!"
"From what heart? It couldn't be mine, 'cause, ...well, I have none."
He smirked without gladness.
Roxas elided Axels hand. The light was now only in Roxas hand. He looked at it and it seemed that he spoke with it without words. Suddenly he nodded and smiled.
"Yes! That's the way I want it."
He gazet at Axel.
"Give me your hand!"
"Slowly you become a weird person!", Axel ment, sighted and gave him his hand.
Roxas laid the light carefully in Axels hand.
"Do with it what you want! You could throw it away..."
"No! It's a present from you! I'll keep it. What ever it is...it's beautiful."
He regarded it. After a while it disappeared and the darkness faded away.

"...After the fight against Cloud Sephiroth was gripped by the Lifestream...but this wasn't the end of his jouney..."

It was dark...
< Is this the end? >, he thought.
"Sephiroth!"
< This voice... Who are you? >
"You can't remember me, Sephiroth, but my name doesn't greatly matter. I need your help. I'll send you back. I give you the chance to live on. There is somebody who needs you in this awful world. He is very young."
< He...Who is it? >
"His name is Zax. His father died in a fight...His mother...well, you've known her, but it doesn't matter anymore. He is an orphan. I ask you to adopt him!"
< I'll do my best, but you...should know who I am. >
"I know this. I need you, because you have a strength nobody can beat. When you will wake up, you will have lost every ability you had before your entering in the Lifestream. You will be human, not more than that. Farewell!"

At six o'clock a tall man with a long, darkbrown coat came in Tifa's tavern. He wore above all gloves in the same colour. His brown hair was uncluttered combed. He went to Tifa and introduced himself.
"Good evening, Madam. I'm Seph Roth. A friend told me, that you care for a young boy with the name Zax, is that right?"
Tifa nodded.
"Correct. How did you know...?"
"It's no secret what's going on in this town", he answered and smiled warmly. "Well, I would be interested to adopt him."
Tifa was surprised. There were not many people who came with that request to her.
"What's your occupation?"
"I'm a swordmaster."
"A swordmaster?", Tifa echoed astonished.
"Yes", the man said calm.
"Maybe you be acquainted with my husband. His name is Cloud. He's a swordmaster too."
"Cloud? Hm...I heard this name before...Well, I'm from another town, you know. There are so many swordmaster's."
"Sure."
Tifa smiled.

Chapter 14

Two hours later Cloud arrived. Behind him hid a young boy with black, straight hair.
"Here we are!", Cloud said and greeted Tifa with a kiss.
Then he turned around to the visitor.
"Tifa has told me on the phone about you, Mr.Roth!", he said and shook hands with him. "I'm Cloud!"
"It's my pleasure", the brown-haired man said and looked at the boy. "And who you are?"
Zax gazed at him with a mix of curiosity and shy.
"Zax!"
"Hm", Mr.Roth said thoughtfully. "I've known a guy named "Zack". You are the spitting image of him."
Cloud raised one eye-brow.
"You have known Zack?!"
Tifa was surprised too. His brown hair, and these gentle, darkbrown eyes... She thought strained about this face, but she couldn't remember, that she has met him in the past.
< I'm glad that I have hid my long hair among this wig >, Sephiroth thought with an inner laugh. < By the way, Cloud! Nice to meet you again... >
"Of course! Every soldier has known him..."
Cloud was stunned.
"You were a soldier?!"
< Oh, come on, Cloud! Don't tell me, you really can't remember me! Don't you identify me? >
Sephiroth realised that nobody saw him as Sephiroth. Everbody thought he was Mr.Roth.
He sighted.
"Once", he replied. "I was a Soldier, yes, but that time is over."
Zax noticed every word Sephiroth spoke. He looked at him with interest. Tifa saw it, but she said nothing.
"What grade did you have?"
< What should I say now? >, Sephiroth askd himself helpless.
"Cloud, I think it's enough!", Tifa said.
"Please, Tifa! Maybe I've met him before! I don't want to be disrespectful."
"You look like the man in my dreams!", Zax said abruptly without knowing that he recovered Sephiroth with that. All attenders gazed at the about four year old boy.
"There is always a big white spider-thing with a green dress who attacks me and then you appear and rescue me!"
He smiled and Sephiroth was taken aback.
"I'm sure you are that man! Your face is like his."
< My face? > , Sephiroth thought puzzled. < A white spider with a green dress? What a imagination! >
Tifa sighted.
"I'm sorry. Zax has nightmares of JENOVA. I don't know why, but he is very interested in her. Don't think about it."
< Ugh! >, Sephiroth made inside. < Don't remind me of her! >
He looked at Zax, who stood with a big smile in front of him.
"Why should I protect you?", Sephiroth asked him and squat, so he was at eye level with him.
Zax looked him into the eye. Then he put his arms around Sephiroths neck.
"Because you're the only one who could defeat her forever", he shispered so quietly that nobody heard him but Sephiroth. Then he dozed off.
"That's amazing!", Tifa ment. "You're the first one he has trusted from the beginning of the meeting. I'm sure you would be a good father for him."
< This young boy knows who I am! >, Sephiroth thought. < It will not be easy. >
He gave Zax to Tifa.
"Only one question I want to ask at last!", Cloud said to him.
"Have you known Sephiroth?"
< If not I would be crazy. By the way, I was crazy. Thank's, Mother for that! That was your only present for me.
Lovely. >
"Eh...", he ment. "Yeah, I've known him. He was a little bit...not himself at the end, wasn't he?"
"Not himself?!", Tifa echoed stunned and raised one eye-brow. "He was the most demented man in this world!"
< Don't make me angry! >, Sephiroth thought out of humor, but he hold off.
"I want to test you!", Cloud manifested. "You couldn't have known Sephiroth unless you have had a very high grade!"
< Okay, Cloud! Do what you want, you'll be beaten! I hate losing! This will be my revenge. >
"As you wish."
Tifa could not believe it. She turned around and brought Zax to bed. In the meanwhile "Mr.Roth" and Cloud left the tavern. In the backyard they moved into position.
"You can have one of my swords, if you haven't none."
Sephiroth took a katana.
"Thank's", he said. "It's your turn!"
Cloud attacked him again and again. He danced around him, made every shift of positions he've learned in the last years, but the visitor fended him with simple gestic's. And what Cloud amazed most: he didn't make any step away from his first position. When Sephiroth noticed that Cloud got tired, he changed from defence fighting into charge-mode and attacked Cloud with so intense impact, that Cloud lost his sword. One moment later the fight was over.
"Thank you, for this interesting lesson, Mr.Cloud!", Mr.Roth said with a smile. "I like your way to fight."
"You are the best swordmaster I've ever met!", Cloud gasped. "I'm sure you were in the first class, but it can't be. Only Sephiroth was the only one who fought that good as you fight."
Sephiroth laughed quietly.
"Thank's, Cloud! I take this as a compliment. I bid farewell!", he greeted and walked away.
Cloud shook his head.
"Did he call me Cloud?", he asked himself. "It sounded really like Sephiroth has said my name! Weird, but, however...Sephiroth is dead. And I'm glad that he isn't alive. I don't know how he would fight now!"

Chapter 15

Nia cried bitterly. She sat now in Vherzuil's flat in his bed. The little lamp spread warmly, lutescent light. Outside it was dark. Her tears dropped down. She didn't realise that the tears didn't have any contact with the ground...
"You have to make a desicion!", she heard a voice.
Through her tear-veiled eyes she saw a tall man standing in front of the closed door.
"How...Who are you?", she asked him with trembling voice.
"I'm somebody you have known once, but don't think about this yet. I've come to tell you, that you've three wishes. I will conform them."
Nia was confused, but she reflected it.
"Maybe it would be easier for you, if I give you these..."
He delivered a list to her.
"These are just the heart's desires of one world, but there are so many world's out there!"
"Why have I three wishes?", she asked him.
He smiled.
"You are the key, Nia. The key for...Well, think about it! Farewell, Nia Faith."
"How do you know my name?", the sixteen year old girl wondered.
The visitor just smirked.
"I know many things."
Then he was gone. Nia looked now the first time at the many notices he has given her.
"I wish, that my Mother would come back!" - Valentina, 12 years old.
"I wish, that my Mother would come back to me." - no name.
"I wish, that my best friend would be alive again." - Cloud.
"I wish, that my son would become a good man. He has killed many people." - no name.
...
Nia closed her eyes for a moment. then she gazed with determination at all the little papers.
"And I wish, that all heart's desires will come true!"
"Wise desicion!", the man from before ment and nodded commendatory. "Two wishes are left over."
"I wish, that...I..."
She broke in herself.
"I can return into my own world..."
The man nodded again.
"And...I wish...that...everything is going to be alright."
"I thank you for your decision's!", he said. "You can go now! Your mission is over, Nia Faith, key of destiny."
Nia arose and absconded with a flash.

Vincent gazed at his daughter, who was very tired by now, but she didn't give up. She wanted to hear the whole story. Her Dad smiled about of her resolution.
"So Cloud didn't found out who Mr.Roth really is? Until now?"
"Nobody found it out", he validated.
"Mr.Roth has a academie for young people who want to learn how to fight", she said thoughtfully. "Why?"
Vincent smirked.
"Because he need money to buy something to eat."
"Ah, yes!", she ment.
Suddenly her mobile phone sounded. She took it and looked at the display.
"Eh...sorry, Dad!", she said embarrassed. "Could you...please?"
Vincent smiled a bit.
"Of course, I could. Okay, I'll wait outside."
"Thank's!"
He went out and closed the door behind him.
"Yes?", she asked.
"Hey, Valentina!", a deep voice greeted her. "How are you?"
"I'm fine, thank's! And you?"
"Ehm...well I think."
"You think? That's not good..."
"Ehm...yeah, I've a problem here..."
"What problem?", she asked nervous.
"I had to restart the computers. There was an error and then..."
"Is he save?"
"Yes, but..."
"But?"
"He woke up..."
"WHAT?!?!?!?!", she shouted horror-stricken. "Are you crazy?!"
"No, and I hope he isn't crazy like his brother, 'cause if that would be so, we've a second prob...I would be glad if you could come here, he is staring at me the whole time."
"I'm coming! Don't do anything without me!"
"I'll wait for you. Hurry up!"
Valentina looked shocked at the display.
"He is awaken! That's not good! I hope nobody will find it out!"

While Vincent was in the kitchen, he thought about Zax and Valentina. The two have feelings for eatch other, that was clear for him. They were more than only friends, but he wasn't sure if they know that. He remebered Zax's father and shook his head. Zax hasn't got the character of Zack, but all of his appearance...
Abruptly somebody opened the door in front of Vincent. Cloud stood there, perspiring and with a confused gaze.
"Vincent!", he called him.
"Cloud! What..."
"The sword! Zack's sword is gone!"
Vincent only raised one eye-brow.
"Who would take a old, rusty sword?"
"I don't know!", Cloud said short of breath.
"Good evening!", a voice sounded behind Cloud.
Mr.Roth as young as ever came into the kitchen.
"Oh, Mr.Roth!", said Vincent and greeted him. Cloud only nodded.
"Vincent, I wanted to ask you just one question: do you know where my son is? I can't find him, and, well..."
He looked at the clock.
"It's half past eleven. A little bit late for a sixteen year old boy to roam around."
Vincent was surprised.
"He's speaking with Valentina on the mobile phone this time...Wait a sec! VALENTINA!!!!"
No answer.
Vincent ran upstaires and stood in Valentina's empty bedroom.
"Where are they?", he asked himself.
"I'm sure, they are together!", Cloud ment.
"To do what?", Mr.Roth asked him.
"We have to look for them!", Vincent said. "Midgar is too dangerous at night."
Cloud and Mr.Roth nodded and they started the search.

Chapter 16

When Nia arrived in her homeworld she stood in the middle of ruins. The sky was white.
"Hello?", she shoutet.
Hello...hell...hel...
Only echoes answered her.
"This cannot be!", she said to herself.
"Look who we have here!"
Nia turned abruptly around and stood in front a tall woman with long white hair.
"Crystallis!"
"Nice, that you haven't forget my name!", Crystallis countered and smirked without gladness.
"Crystallis! What's going on here?", Nia asked her. "Where are all of us?"
The woman laughed.
"What do you mean? >All of us< are dead besides you, I and another of us!"
Nia got pale.
"I...I don't believe you!"
"Well, there are some...descendant's in another world..."
"Where? Tell it!", Nia commanded.
"It will be too late for them..."
"I SAID: TELL IT!!"
Crystallis looked astonished at Nia. The sixteen year old girl was changing her appearance.
"If you only "forget" one word to tell me, I'll kill you!", she warned Crystallis.
Crystallis shrugged.
"As you wish, dear sister."
She smiled.

Cloud, Vincent and Mr.Roth accounted that each one of them will search alone, and if one of them find Zax and Valentina, he would call the others.
Sephiroth sighted and looked around him.
< Where are you Zax? >, he asked himself.
Suddenly he heard a noise. He turned around very quickly and stared at a young man's face, who was very surprised.
"Zax!", Sephiroth called him.
"Ha, I didn't thought I'll found you here!", the black-haired guy said and laughed.
"Where have you been?", Sephiroth asked him strict. "Cloud, Vincent and I are looking for you for hours!"
"Cloud is here? Really? What are the odds!"
He laughed again.
"By the way, what have you done with your hair? Brown is a nice colour, but it doesn't suit you."
Sephiroth raised one eye-brow. He realised that this guy wasn't Zax...
"Who are you?"
"Are you kidding, Sephiroth? What do you mean with this question?"
Sephiroth sighted and put away his wig. His long, silver hair covered since years once again his tall figure.
"Better!", the other man commented.
Suddenly Sephiroth's mobile phone rang.
"One moment, please!", the silver-haired man asked, and responded the call. "Yes?...No, I haven't found him. Have you...?"
Sephiroth gazed at the man with Zack's sword at his back.
"I can't believe this!", he ment. "What I've found? Not Zax, that's clear now!"
When Sephiroth said "Zax", the guy turned around and looked in a diffrent way at him. Sephiroth just nodded as answer to Cloud's question.
"Yes...yes...No, I'm not sure, but, maybe...Zax told me about an old laboratory...I hope not! Oh god, please...! ...What?! Valentina has...Cloud, please, speak a bit slower! I didn't understand anything..."
"Here you are!", Vincent said, after a huge jump. He gazed at the black-haired man with surprise.
"Zack!", he called him. "What are you doing here?"
Sephiroth got pale. He stopped talking with Cloud and stared at Zack.
"Don't look at me like this!", Zack asked them for.
"Mr.Roth? What happened?", Cloud asked.
"You should come, Cloud!", Sephiroth said to him. "We are in front of the old Shin'ra building."
"Old?", echoed Zack astonished and gazed at that house. "Okay, a little bit, maybe..."
Vincent and Sephiroth looked at each other with helplessness.

Chapter 17

The seperation of the old labor opened and Valentina ran into the office.
"I came as fast as I could!", the girl told him.
"Thank's!", said the seventeen year old guy.
Valentina looked at the monitors. Then she gazed on the capsule.
"Is it still filled with liquid?"
"Yes."
Suddenly the alarm sirene started to sound. Red lights were enabled.
"What's that?", Zax asked worried.
"I'm not sure, but it seems that..."
She raised her head and stared at the capsule, which was opposite her.
"He" looked in Valentina's eye. His eyes were green.
Valentina twinkled and looked back at the screen in front of her.
"What do you think?", Zax asked her quietly.
"Hm?"
"Just a thought: could be get him back to sleep?"
"Maybe..."
Valentina selected a file.
"What are you searching for?"
"I think I've read something about this problem in a chapter of Hojo's diaries."
"You've recreated the total database?!" Zax was stunned. "How did you make that? I can't even read his handwriting!"
The red-eyed girl smiled a bit.
"It's not that hard to read."
Zax shook his head and glanced at the man in the capsel, who seemed to be tired and closed his eyes again.
"He has fallen asleep!", he told Valentina.
She only nodded and sighted.
"We've done it!", Zax cheered and hugged the girl happily.
Valentiny laughed relieved.
"What have you found?", he asked her after a while.
Valentina showed him the file.
"Lucrezia has left her diaries, but she has coded them. I would need her password to read them."
"A password?", Zax echoed and scratched his head. "What's with your father's name?"
"I've tried, but it's wrong."
"And what's about "Sephiroth"?
"The password has only eight letters. Sephiroth's name has nine."
"Argh! It could be everything!"
Valentina shrugged.
"Maybe it's his name."
She pointed at the man who looked like Sephiroth.
"He...has a name?"
"Why not? Actually Red XIII has got a name. "This", -well, I hate this description-, was Hojo's last project. In the last chapter's of his diaries he wrote about "it"."
"What has he written?", the seventeen year old guy asked her inquisitive.
"Wait a sec...Oh, yes! Here...He wrote: > 8759th day. I've finished the last sequence. Now Lavender should sleep for a long time... < These are his last notes."
"Lavender, huh? Sounds well."
"I'll try..."
She typed it in.
The screen began to blink in red. Then it changed into green.
> Opening sequence is activated <, a female voice sounded through the office. At the same time the red lamps began twinkling.
"What's going on?", Zax asked astonished. "What have you done?"
"I don't know! These are apparently not her diaries!"
"I thought about something like that!", he ment and rolled his eyes.
> Countdown is starting now: 5000...4999...4998..."
"Wounderful!", Zax ment. "Could I help you?"
"I don't know what's going on, Zax!", she said afraid and looked up to him. "I'm sorry!"
"It's okay", he said gently and sighted. "I think there is only one who could help us now."
He catched hold of his mobile phone.

Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiing!!!!
Sephiroth sighted.
"Yes?", he asked. "... Zax! Were are you?!"
Vincent and Zack raised one eye-brow. Sephiroth lost all of his colour in his face.
"You are in...?!?! Zax, are you...?! The headquarters are destroyed for years! ...The contamination is eliminated? By whom?... Okay, I'm coming! Son, you're in trouble know! In BIG trouble!"
Sephiroth determined the telephone call.
"Vincent, I ask you to wait here for Cloud! Zax and Valentina are in the old headquarter's...I'll take care of Valentina as well. Zack, I need your help! Come with me!"
Zack and Vincent nodded.

Chapter 18

Vherzuil prominaded in the light of the fullmoon. He kept Nia in mind and sighted.
He felt the deep hurt in his heart everytime when he thought of her.
"Are you thinking of that girl you're still loving?"
Vherzuil turned around and stared at the white-haired, young woman, who stood a few meters away from him.
"Crystallis!", he called her surprised.
"Yes, ...Crystallis is my name. Well, Vherzuil, it's time for you to change!"
"What do you mean?", he asked her astonished.
"You don't remember it, do you?", she asked him with a sneer. "You have to remember who you really are! I hope it for you."
Vherzuil shook his head.
"I'm not like Noctis! I can't fight like a swordmaster!"
Crystallis broke out in laugh. Then she said with a cold voice.
"No, of couse not! You're much more better than he will ever be!"
She threw a wrapped sword into his hands.
"Come on! Fight against me! You'll see what I mean."
Vherzuil unpacked a sword with a long blade, which glared red in the cold light of the moon. The hilt was adorned with a darksilver dragon.
"This was your sword once! I think you'll get all your memories back...Soon."
Vherzuil have suddenly a notion of something he couldn't explain. Suddenly he saw letters who appeared on the blade, but he couldn't read them, because they were in a language he didn't know. He felt, that these letters were linked with his past, he couldn't remember.
Vherzuil nodded in Crystallis direction.
"Let us begin!"
Crystallis smiled. Her sword glowed gold. She didn't spared Vherzuil. Her strikes were powerful and her moves good coordinated. Vherzuil noticed soon that he can't defeat her only with physical strength.
After a few minutes he was tired. Crystallis smirked cruel.
"This is your end, Genesis!"
< Genesis? >, Vherzuil asked himself irritated. < Genesis...Rhapsodos? >
There was something in his head...This name...
Suddenly he saw many scenes as chaos with his inner eyes. Vherzuil gasped amazed.
Crystallis struck out for the last hit, when Vherzuil realised what has happend with him.
Before he noticed it, his sword intersected her blade equatorial.
"This fight is over!", he stated.
He recognized her surpise when he speard her chest with his sword.
"I will...come...back!", she pledged him and absconded in a flash.
Vherzuil sighted.
"What name will I choose? And what about Nia? I can't go back to Earth... Life is not going easier with all that stuff!", he said to himself.

Chapter 19

"Have you lost something?"
Vherzuil raised his head and saw Noctis.
"You look so sad..."
The twenty year old guy nodded.
"I'm sorry for all troubles I've ever made."
"Forget about it", Noctis ment. "Just live your life with your beloved one's!"
Vherzuil regarded him suprised.
"But...You are one of them!", he replied.
Noctis smiled.
"And I'm happy about it, Vherzuil! However, I don't feel well if you stay here longer. Nia needs you! Raidon will come back soon and will help me with the arrangements for the coronation! Never fear! Crystallis has left our world and I have the feeling that she will not return. She has told me that she was the one who killed father..."
Vherzuil sighted.
"I'm sorry...I was too late."
Noctis shook his head.
"I'm glad that you've come! I just want that you know...even if we're not brothers, I would never wish another brother for me!"
Vherzuil gazed at the young man with emotion. He smiled a bit, the eyes filled with tears.
He went to him and laid his right hand on Noctis left shoulder.
"I thank you, little brother!"
Noctis nodded and also laid his right hand on his brother's shoulder.
"I will never forget you!", Vherzuil promised.
Vherzuil felt how he was changing his appearance. His hair were suddenly fawn brown and his eyes in an intensive blue. His clothes also have changed. He was wearing a red coat, black boots, a turtleneck and trousers in the same colour.
"I will never forget you too, Genesis Rhapsodos!", Noctis stated.
Genesis spread his left and only wing that was coloured like ebony. With a last glance at Noctis, Genesis vanished. He left only a few black feathers back, which wavered suavely to the ground. Noctis shook his head while he stared at the starred night sky.
"I wish you all luck of the universe!", Noctis whispered at last.
