Good news for PS3 gamers.

UPDATE:
Star Ocean 4 to come to the Playstation 3, as well
Something told us that it was about to happen, and now, if you can believe the Finland Final Fantasy fansite Finaland, which has been pretty accurate in the past, Microsoft may have just gotten one of its own weapons firing at them, as they listed, via Gamekyo, that Star Ocean: The Last Hope is to be released on the Playstation 3, as well. http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b363/jazzking2001/star%20ocean%204/so4.jpgOf course, we're right now the only American gaming site to also be talking about this (funny that this would be our first story and we're still looking for site members and staff to help us out on this site. How's THAT for history?), as none of the other more mainstream sites are getting this right now (you know, the ones that would actually be there at the Tokyo Game Show, where SE was reported to make this announcement). However, we think they should, as this sounds like it's a pretty solid bet that there is something major to this. You can read the Google-translated site here: http://translate.google.com/translate?u=http%3A%2F%2Ffinaland.com%2F%3Frub%3Ds ite%26page%3Dnews%26id%3D1470&hl=en&ie=UTF-8&sl=fr&tl=en
The announcement comes on the heels of some awful press that Square-Enix has been recieving lately about quasi-abandoning the Playstation 3 in favor of the 360 for the reason you want to believe (bribary money is the main reason out there right now). PSX Extreme had even posted an article (http://www.psxextreme.com/feature/330.html) saying "What has the Playstation fans ever done to SE to deserve this kind of treatment."
The announcement, which has no other confirmation as of yet though we expect to hear something official before too long the way this has blown up just an hour after this was approved on N4G.com, was made via a change in the game's Gamekyo page, which right now has the game listed as a Playstation 3 game in addition to a 360 game, as opposed to before when only the 360 version was listed.
Before this point, the game was only announced as a 360 game. However, no confirmation about its exclusivity, timed or otherwise, was ever made by Square Enix. In fact, the only thing that was ever close to a confirmation was on an instruction booklet ad and with the 360 tags on trailers, which didn't kill any of the talks. The ad on the instruction booket was for one of Square's 360 games, and in the past, those types of ads will list multiplatform titles for only the system which that ad is in, and we have seen 360 and PS3 tags on multiplatform games before (see the ones for GTA4). We have also seen how cocky Microsoft can be and how that has hurt them before by them saying things about games that other companies have had to correct, such as the debacle over the GTA4 multiplayer exclusivity.
We are waiting for something official from Square, and we are sure we will hear something from them when they see this thing, assuming that this wasn't true. However, looking at the site's previous record, we have to think that if this is only in the rumor category, than this would have some heavy, hot mustard to this one.
Stay tuned for more.
