Tekken 6, a longtime exclusive for Sony has now broken that tradition and is going to take on both consoles, you heard it, it will be coming to both consoles. Let's recap guys, how many exclusive have Microsoft taken from Sony this year? first Devil May Cry then it was Final Fantasy and now Tekken. All of which looks so obvious, Microsoft is bribing all of them when their financial state is at a crysis point. I know that it is better for everyone that they do that but I just feel that it's unfair if yoiu look it at a non-business perspective.
What do you think guys? Please do not start a fanboy war here please.

Wow, 360 has another ex exclusive game of Sony. I wonder what Sony is going to do for PS3 now.

I don't care about it going to the 360, but 4 years just to make the console version? You fucking suck Namco.

Well Final Fantasy XIII took that long too didn't they?(just my 2 cent)

I agree... Why 4 years? It's a fighting game, I don't think it needs that much of time like an RPG--If you get it. And besides, Square-Enix always delay games...

Well Final Fantasy XIII took that long too didn't they?(just my 2 cent)Comparing Final Fantasy XIII with Tekken 6's development is a joke.
Soul Calibur IV started on development shortly after Tekken 6 yet SC4 makes it's release first. The graphics are pretty much the same as Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection, still not close to SC4. :| I'm sorry as much as I love Tekken, this is even worse than Tekken 4.
Note: Sorry I'm just pist off at the "Fall 2009" release date of this game.
Edit: Actually, Soul Calibur IV started in 2007 while Tekken 6 in 2005. -_-

True that. Apology accepted, anyway you didn't even need to.
Hey I told my brother about this and he went crazy, he said he won't by any games that comes to the Xbox 360. He is flippin hard headed, honestly I don't really care about this but he does and he is serious about about not getting it( this is the same with Final Fantasy XIII).

well you do know that the move set for each character can take months. seeing as there are so many characters in tekken each with like 70+ moves i'm not surprised. They can't just do anything... All these moves have to be real and not made up. They have to get real martial artists to perform these moves.
All sony's games can go multi-platform, i dont really care man. As long as i get to play em... I've been looking forward to Tekken 6 for ages, can't wait.

Anyways, Tekken 6 looks like it has bigger issues for people to worry about than not remaining exclusive.

I don't get what's the big deal about it, another game is going to Xbox 360, you should have bought both . It should just be stated for the record that 'Microsoft' nor 'Sony' "take" exclusives from each other, ultimately it's up to the developer/publisher. Plus the argument of Microsoft 'bribing' is a fallacy - watch the Stock Markets and you'll know what I'm talking about.
But hey, I played Tekken once in my life and I don't plan on playin' it again. :D

it is made by Namco who have recently been having a great amount of success with their titles on the xbox360 platform. So I would expect nothing less than this hitting the console in full force. also means now my friend can play (since he is a tekken geek).

Yeah, not surprised really.
I remember reading some interview where it was heavily hinted they'd make it multi plat.

Two posts in a row is a double post. I wouldn't have thought that'd be all that complicated.

Look, there are hardly no more third party exclusives anymore, honestly I don't know how anyone can be shocked at anything going multiplat anymore.
This kinda game isn't my bag, but if it's just as good on both consoles then whats the beef?

God of War will stay exclusive, it is a Sony IP and Sony would NOT give that to microsoft.

Seems Sony is going more down. After the SO4, Tekken 6 now.
I once remember, back then, when it was PS2 vs. XBOX, PS2 was the winner due of all those games and now it is the opposite.
Well, Square-Enix should make something more for PS3, like a new game of the FFVII complication.

Tekken for me will always be a ps-series, so I will be buying this game for the ps3 :]

I recall seeing, "Xbox 360" and "Final Fantasy XIII". Any sentence with those words near each other is not worth reading, much less, posting.

Yeah me and my co worker were talking about that. There needs to be more exclusives because it's not making anyone wants any particular system except 360 which is $200 but that's only because you have to buy the hard drive separately and the prices for those are kinda ridiculous. No disrespect to 360 though.
I think any true Tekken fan would appreciate this multi plat move just for the simple fact it'll bring in more Tekken fans in the long run. So I agree with Caelum on this.
