For some reason I have a feeling this is all Cathryn's fault. In any case the server stopped breathing a few days ago and after no help from my useless host I had to kill it. The SQL database just gave up and there was no conceivable way to fix it so I had to reinstall the OS. I resorted to this plan the day before yesterday but it took days to download the 14GB of server files and reupload them. Our cable connection isn't exactly behaving right now.

Anyway, we're back up and just in time for TGS which is starting in a couple of days. This fresh install might actually help us by stopping those annoying database errors but I wouldn't bet money on it just yet. The basics are back up but I'm not finished fixing things yet. I'll change the list below when I put something back online.

Lmfao. This is starting to take the piss. Well we're back up again, we'll see how long for soon. At least it was only a couple of hours this time.

Found the problem. The forum plugins like the store and chatbox are causing it. I disabled them through FTP and here we are again. I have no idea which one is causing it but I suppose it's trial and error to find out. I'm going to fucking kill whoever made it.

Currently testing the plugins. All are currently enabled except the Store and Ad Managment. Let's see how this goes. If it isn't either of these two I know that the plugin which puts the most stress on the server is the chatbox. Hopefully it isn't causing the problem.
