I have the "luck" of living in Sweden, perfect in all ways but one: Videogame prices are insane. A new game on the market goes for 90USD-110USD.

Frankly I have had enough of this. I feel ripped off everytime I buy a game. Sometimes I just wait a few monts so the price drops.

So I wonder if there are any good online shops I could import from. I'm looking for European stores only, because they fuck you over with taxes here if you import from outside Europe. If I import from US/JP I have to pay an extra 25% tax.

So if anyone knows of a good and reliable online Euro store please tell me, I beg you.

Living in Europe doesn't have a huge amount of benefits really. In the UK we pay the same price and importing costs far too much. I advise maybe looking at eBay shops or piracy to make the EU cry.

play.com usually has games for cheaper then in stores, only around 10 pounds cheaper but hey can't complain. Tis a European store too, plus it has playtrade, this cool secondhand marketplace thing thats less messy then ebay.

I think I've bought around 80% of my games from there.

But if you change the currency to euros they cost much, much more  I can use paypal, I wonder if I can order games when the currency is, ummm... £?

Yeah. Like Kit said, eBay sites are great. You just gotta read the seller's feedback so you don't get ripped off.

Thanks, play.com actually seems good.

I ordered Ratchet: Tools of Destruction and TES 4: Oblivion GOTY Edition. These are the only games that I want and do not yet have for the PS3.

It's a shame they don't allow Europeans shop to with GBP. It's very cheap. But Euro is also good for me. I will get these two games for a very reasonable fee.

I'll use an example on the games I bought:

play.com
Ratchet 20.99 Euro
Oblivion 20.99 Euro
=42 Euro

Most Swedish stores and websites
Ratchet 31 Euro
Oblivion 54 Euro
= 85 Euro.

It's a fucking outrage. I'll do all of my shopping anywhere else but Sweden. Even with the toll and all other fees I'll still save money. I can save much on this, and be able to actually buy more games.

I know. I meant that when you change the currency to euros, the prices are higher. Ridiculously higher.

I ebay for most of my games. But thats only because I honestly feel most of the older games are 100 times better than most of the newer shit that is being crapped from the bowls of game designers these days <,<....Disgaea ftmfw

Thank goodness for this thread. I totally feel you Sabin, I have exactly the same problem where I live so I'm all up for other alternatives. Saved me the effort in my making a thread myself.
