Tales of Vesperia

I am in love with this game! its so awesome and the skits are really funny. Who else here is playing this? At the moment this is my favourite nex-gen RPG.

PS: I know there was a topic about ToV but it was about the sales.

I too have been playing this and its my first Tales game and i have been enjoying it far more than i expected. Its truly a really fun and enticing game and while ive completed the main story i still have alot of little secret things to do (plus beat the optional Version 3 of the final boss, man he's badass). Its a really great game really really fun!

Yeah that is an incredibly long wait....even with the sh*t Ton of voice over in the game with all of the Skits, and all the text..that is way too long of a localization..my guess is they didnt start doing so until after the game was out or close to...well just dont spoil it and wait...i guess...

I'll have to stick with Fable 2 and Fallout 3. Still, it's not the same,

From what I've heard Tales is better then Infinite Undiscovery (and I don't mean the magazines) like co workers and friends who've played both. I guess someone beat it in 7 hours but other then it's time length it's good.

Even rushing through its practically impossible to beat the game in 7 hours..i mean the text cutscenes cant be skipped, only rushed through and the cutscenes cant be skipped...not to mention completing the game requires some bit of inforcement of your characters..so he was BSing you ..i have the game and i know 7 hours is not really possible for just getting through the main story..maybe around 15 hours if youre that good...but 7? noway

wait a Minute...you purchased the game...then played the demo and decided you didnt want it? shouldnt it be the other way around?:blink: and besides..the game is much better than the demo lets on. Maybe you should have given it a chance since you allready had it :|

I decided to play the demo again after buying it and then decided the money would be better off in the gastank for the week.

I really am looking for some reason for me to buy it and actually play it this time, so I would be eternally grateful if you gave me one. :rolleyes::D

Oh Xion about the 7 hours thingy, my friend told me it's on the leader board or whatever.

I have yet to play Vesparia but I really liked Symphonia and Abyss so I'm gonna give Vesparia a try when given the chance

hmm well i think if he did in fact beat it in 7 hours, he didnt experience anything at all, just blew throught it....i hope he atleast made a thorough playthrough (come to think about it, 7 hours might be possible in an EX game, since you would be overpowered with enough grade...but never in a first playthrough)...In any case both of you should play it..i mean i didnt think i would like it all that much myself but i really love it the Combat is great fun

Oh and i might get you a copy if you join my forum..maybe..just maybe...hehe (no sorry)

I wasn't really thrilled about this Tales game for some reason but now It looks like a pretty good "Tales of" game. I wasn't really fond of the graphics at first but I'm starting to like Vesperia's. I've only played Tales of Phantasia, Tales of Destiny and Tales of Destiny 2; not Tales of Eternia dubbed Destiny 2 in the USA. I hope the battle system isn't like Radiant Mythology though. From the videos i've seen It looks somewhat like Radiant Mythology's battle system but done a lot better.

Tales of Vesperia has been discontinued in North America. I heard this from a Gamestop employee today, so if you are going to get this game you better hurry.
