Another film adaptation of "A Christmas Carol" is being directed by Robert Zemeckis and will be coming out on November 6, 2009. Jim Carrey will play Ebenezer Scrooge as well as several other characters. Gary Oldman will also play a number of roles (including Tiny Tim).
It will be done in a 3D motion capture like way (similar to Zemeckis' more recent films such as Beowulf).
I love the idea of Jim Carrey playing Scrooge, but I'm still a little worried (since I love the book)
Zemeckis' older films were really good, like Contact and stuff, but I'm not sure.
I haven't seen Beowulf, but it looked awful. So I'm slightly worried if this will be good.
Anyone else heard about this or know anything else?
