Have anyone here played Legend of Dragoon? well for those who hasent u gotta get it. Its an awsome game.
But my real meaning about this thread is this:
i have heard some roumors and stuff about that a Legend of Dragoon 2 will be coming as a PS3 Exclusive.
But what i wanna know is: Will they even make a Legend of dragoon 2?
It would be Awsome if it does but i dont think they will. What do you ppl think about this?

@Moklin
It came out for PSone
A sequel will be so awesome!
But I doubt they will make one.
First one so good. One of the best RPG's ever.

It came out tiiiiiimmmmmmmmeeeeee ago. It was an epic game, though I never got to finish it. I think it would be good if a sequel did come out. Or maybe like a totally new story and characters and shit but with the same concept.

another thread about this game? Shit I am playing it for the second time again and the childhood effect of the first time really wore off bigtime. this game is horrible and drives me up the walls with its horribleness. If a sequel was made it would have to be a time far away from the first to make any sense in that convulted shitty timeline they made. To be on the positive side, the production values were ace, the combat was fun for half the game, and the first time you become a dragoon is always a treat.

I know that game, I played in my friend's house, but I didnt get into the story very deep, perhpas if I had a copy of it on my own, anyway I truely debut if they will do second one, lots of ppl underestimate that game, and maybe it was worth of more attention, but I think there is many games like this, not only RPGs which should have sequel, whether its becasue there is no mony for it, or there is small nr of ppl who would bought it.
It would be nice to see it on ps3 though

way to not know much about the title in the first place. No one underestimated the game. It recieved tons of attention, decent sales, high amounts of advertisement. It was totted as a new Final Fantasy for the Playstation. The game was hyped out of its ass and back but could not live up to it at all and Sony in the end was disappointed at the result.

Yeah i have an ISO of it I still play from time to time....But i dont think a sequel is very likely for it. Thered be those that loved it that buy it and then prolly all the people that didnt play the first would probably not have much room for it in their play lists.

A lot of people didnt like it because they felt the gameplay required too much precision to pull off, it was a love or hate battle system (I personally loved it). And yes, there were some similarities to FF, but I noticed original stuff also (Moon, tree thing whatever). While the game might not be popular, it deserves all the credit it gets because when youre playing it, you know the developers were giving it their all to make it the best they could unlike other companies who just try to make a quick buck *cough*SquareCapcom*cough*
But since this is all my opinion, I'll just leave it at that.

giant trees of life are prevelent in tons of religions and games. Mana trees, sephiroth (however you spell it), yagdrassil (yeah can't spell), etc. Their timeline was so sadly put together that it felt incomplete all over the place. I don't think they were so original it blew my mind, nothing really was original other than the battle system that was good at times but much more a annoyance since until you got your hands on wargod calling you had to press every single damn time. Don't forget counters! Even a interesting battle system can wear out its welcome: Legend of Legaia, holy shit the battle system was good but fights took to long and too much time was spent inputing attacks with little progress.

Oh gosh..I started playing this game again on my PSP a couple of weeks back ( I wanted to play something other than ff on the psp) so I decided to get LOD since I really adored it back when I was younger, but playing it again made me go crazy..I can't believe how much I really dislike this game now, the battle system, the story, the characters, the music, its enough to make me gag! I cannot stand LOD full stop.
If a sequel was to be released, I hope they would update/change ALOT!
