Somehow that young man from FFXIII Versus reminded me a lot about Cloud. The cloths are slighty similar to Cloud's AC outfit and the sword, or part of I have seen of it in the trailer, looks like a combination of a Cloud's sword and parts of the Gunblade. What? "the sadness his eyes, his hair" are you tripping off acid? First off, this boy wasn't even sad, he was pretty much at a non-emotional state throughout the whole trailer. Cloud's spikes share nothing in common with this boys more down to earth hairdo. The only spiked part is the back, you can say he shares more in common with Sion in hairstyle if you just flip it front to back.

If a red suit was implimented into this id definatly think it to be a darker red than actual red itself, more darker shades of colours would work well.
The black definatly works well with his character, it suits to the settings he is in.
Nomura may be suggesting a possible hint towards a red glow around his actual outfit, not nessacerally be an actual red outfit, at the end of the E3 trailer it shows his eyes blazing red which could impliment this into it.
Well the glow is my imagination, it would actually seem good, possibily choosing an outfit for the characters possibibly, it would spark my interest a bit instead of given outfits.
But that is my mind.

If different coloured outfits where placed in the game, any colour should be dark and not lighter, it wouldn't suit the atomosphere and the character.

I can picture him in totally different clothes. I would like something that wouldn't fit in a sense of he doesn't seem that way. Sora doesn't act like he should be wearing what he does.

Great example. Delita became a Holy Knight, he also wore Gold with a red and white curtail I believe. BIG ONE Delita killed tons of people just to move up in rank and became king. He also killed his queen because she knew to much The outfit only reflects his childhood where he was the best friend and nicest guy you could ever know. He didn't get the outfit when he was a child though so it doesn't fit him currently.

Your opinion(no offense) is stuck in the ideal that it would be best for his character to be a strong silent type. A total brick with super flashy powers. So you like a mono colored outfit to match your ideal character. I would like this boy to be something special with an advanced character so his outfit should show that be being unique and complex not something I can go to Macy's and cut up.

What's the Versus guy's original eye color?

As far as I know (with only ONE trailer and a couples of scans), I think his eyes are crimson.
However, in the lastest high-quality scan in which he was sitting in his car, looking out of the window, his eyes are light brown (every beautiful brown, I must say) but that could be the result of light reflection so I'm not really sure.

Half of the trailer, he was sleeping --_--. When he woke up and staring at the soldier, his eyes are already red.

I heard that whenever he uses his power, his eyes change to red but ... I doubt it.

By the way... why does only his right eye glow in the trailer?

...But then eye color and shape is also important... Usually I look at eye color, if it's a bright/catchy color like (sigh again) Vincent and Cloud, they're most likely of European ascent
