Depends on how they would go about it if they did ever go about using that concept. Every cliched idea can be unique in some sort of aspect. In a couple of years, most of the good ideas will be used and all games will have a cliched storyline. They will have to have something unique.:D

Strange, because in the picture of him in the car it looks black, but when he's outside about to attack it looks dark blue. Perhaps he has a leather short sleeved coat? Because in the car the material of the outfit looked different as well. It looked like leather, and when he's about to attack in the trailer it looked like cotton....did that get confusing?

Same outfit, the quality of the first trailer is just harder to see it. Both are leather but in the released trailer you don't notice the little flame design on his shoulders as easy as in the picture with the car.

That was the point. Same reason women rode horses side saddle and not like men. It in a way was made a more female way of sitting down. Men do it but it is still seen as majority woman style.
