Didn't see this thread so I decided to start one.

So what's everyone's fav battle theme song (from any game). Very interested to hear. Mine in particular is "Highbrow -Band Recording" from Star Ocean Till the End of time which you can download on my other thread with that mp3. So share your favs (and please post link if you can:))!

you can be seriuos can you? I have listned to that soundtrack, there were couple of songs I liked, but there were some many crap ones,

I liked most of FF battle themes, they had really nice pace, and they are really easy to remeber,
but mostly I loved One winged Angel obviously, the best song ever created, and I think most recongizable song ever created in history of gaming

As a side note, I feel Nobuo's greatest work is Final Fantasy VIII. The other OSTs sure have their moments of greatness, but in terms of consistence throughout an entire OST, Final Fantasy VIII takes the crown for me. His top 3 OSTs in my book would be (in order): Final Fantasy VIII, Final Fantasy VI and Lost Odyssey.

Lost Odyssey had a very good battle theme and good music most of the time, especially when reading those memories, and i must say that it had a very unique end-boss battle theme, search it on youtube if you havent heard it...

FFVII have a very good battle theme also but i didnt found many of the other themes to be as good.. there were only a couple of the themes that i really enjoyed..

Crisis Core (one of my fav games) was excellent on the music part, it always kept the action going.. I still need to finish that game

^I second that. Also "Mass Destruction" from P3 because of the lol's I had when someone else in the house randomly heard the "OOOOOH YEAH! DADADADA DADADADA BABY-BABY! DADADADADA" and was like WTF are you playing :lol:
