Eh, I'm a female, so there isn't much choice. Aeris maybe, but she ends up dead, Tifa but she'd have massive back problems... Yuffie's way too... eccentric. Elena could be a good choice, but not Lucrecia. She's not technically from the original but maybe Cissnei?

Yes I ponder alot. My final choice is a tie between Elena and Yuffie.

And for the record, they're both meant to be pronounced with a 'th' sound on the end. 'Aeris' was a translation error from the Japanese 'Earisu', which stuck a 'su' on the end because they don't have a 'th' sound and thus substitute with 'su'. English version should've been Aerith, even though Aeris looks cooler.

And I've changed my mind, I want to be the Buster Sword.

If I were cloud, since I still have my mind id be a less depressing, more humorous and up-beat version. Advent children cloud with the sleeve and im good to go.

As for Vincent personality wise I would keep him they way he is. But with my own spin off to his personality like dark humor that makes people turn their heads in disbelief at times. For weapons I would have him use a katana stained red with blood with a golden colored gaurd and black rayskin with red cotton fabric wrapped around the handle of the blade as his main melee weapon but of course keep the guns in his arsenal for respect of the orginal character. He'd have the katana in a black scabbard on his back and have the guns in holsters, one on each side of his waist. Id probably get rid of the red over coat just keep the original red theme and go for a new modern day style because times change you know, I gotta look good for the ladies ;D

Im gonna say reno. I like his comical nature with rude in FF7 advent children. And unlike a lot of the main characters he never had to go through any tough scenarios (as far as we know) like clouds town burning down, tifas dad dieing, and barrets town being attacked
