Right now Kotaku and IGN are liveblogging Xbox Japan's "Media Briefing 2008" press conference:

I have a suspicion we might see something about Final Fantasy XIII. I do recall Japanese gamers feeling "betrayed" because they aren't getting a release. I could be jumping ahead of myself here, so if nothing turns out (not even a reiteration that it won't be coming out), you can yell at me and delete the topic :'(

Not sure, but it sounds like it might be a while: "Sensui says that we should stick around for the whole event today." They're talking about all of its future games (some RPGs) right now, so we might hear something!

Well that was uneventful. The only thing Square Enix-related was the announcement of an Infinite Undiscovery faceplate; given as a present to those who buy the Xbox 360 (from September 11 onwards).

Nothing happened :/ Would have been surprised if they did mention FFXIII when it isn't coming out for 360 in Japan. Then again we've been surprised before.

Seriously, the PS3 barely has any of them. I did buy a 360 for RPGs, but I want some PS3 ones as well.

I don't care what JRPG comes out for either really, I just want a good one. UI looks quite shit, Blue Dragon was HORRIBLE and LO was pretty average. Don't care about TLR or Star Ocean either :wtf:
