View Full Version : Anyone going to TGS this year?

So I got a scholarship to Japan for five and a half years and since I'm such video game nerd that I am the first thing that came to my mind was TGS.

Anyway, do you need some sort of special ticket thingy to go there and what time of of the day is the usual Square Enix stuff at?

And for anyone who didn't know TGS is held from October 9 to 12.

Personally I just want to play the Dissidia demo and hopefully get a glimpse of FFXIII and Birth by Sleep.

Anyways, you probably do just as you'd need to for that Dengeki event that happened almost a month ago.;);)

Ignore Ixion. Everything in that sentence was just a blur of words. To get into TGS you will need a ticket that costs about $10 but I'm not sure if they're still on sale (I assume they are). Be aware though that days 9 and 10 are press only. Booths are open all day so you should be able to play demos whenever you want but they'll be busy. If they bring their Closed Mega Theatre and you want to have a look in there, you have to buy a seperate ticket earlier in the day.

If anyone on this site does get to TGS, make sure you collect as much info as possible to bring back to us ;) Or even, try to get a camcorder in there :P

I hope she does get to go, both so she can post info and so she does get to TGS. I'm planning on going in four years, when I have a bit of money. Sometimes I can completely miss the most obvious things ^_^'
