Addicted? ...

Hi guys..^.^

My parents are saying I am addicted of playing pc. Now I dunno if it's true .. Yes I am spending a lot of time here by my pc. Hmm but I am only on my pc at the weekend. Then I am sitting and playing ... around 7 hours.. Of course I am keeping contacts with my friends and making breaks so .. what do you thing I am addicted of playing or being at my pc?

I dont think if you are, lots of my friends just like you spend huge amount of time in the front of computer, and they have the same problem, I belelieve its normal for you parents to worry about you, as somenone mention above as long as you are able to resist not to play or using the pc then its mean you are normal I guess...

Stay off for longer than two days and see if any problems arise. If they do then you probably shouldn't come back.

i feel like im in the same position, just because my parents believe that "you and your generation" spend too much time in the digital world. At the same time a good excuse is that you're keeping in contact with friends that you can't see etc.

You definitely don't sound addicted too me... A guy in my class spent played WoW for a total of 100 days in a year... 1/3 of his time... If you get to that level, you've better start asking questions... xD

My brother and I are addicted to the computer. He spends his time on it 24/7, while I have nothing else to do, except die from boredom. :blink:

Nope, can't do that. He's 2 years older, and uses his own laptop. I'm stuck using my mom's computer because our home one crashed. :'(

Remember that just because you don't "sound" addicted doesn't mean you aren't. Not accusing you of being addicted though either. Some people deny or don't realize it. But from what you say you're only going on during the weekends, so I assume it's fine.

He's antisocial and has no interest what-so-ever about getting a girlfriend. He's also paranoid and locks up his computer. :(

And, no. My mom doesn't always need her laptop, so I can use it during weekdays, too. I use it whenever I get the chance, lol.
