Need help / advice on CCFFVII ( Cactuars & Minerva)

I'm trying to get to Minerva ( the secret boss[the goddess] on mission 9-6-6: 9th title, 6th sub title, 6th mission) but getting there has proven quite difficult. I'm currently on mission 9-6-1 and the target enemy[ies] is a cactuar ( with 2 other cactuars that appear during battle) and they constantly keep using 10000 neddles. They have a LOT of health each and damage dealt is reduced to 1/10.



Suggestions to win please!



-Also, any advice / info I need to keep in mind for when I get to Minerva?

I can't stop now, not after i've come far in order to get to Minerva! I'll try looking up a guide though.

I found a guide that can help me with cactuar problem ( though it'll take a while to get what I need to do it). Thanx for that link for Minerva. I'll make sure to use it when the time comes to face her.

Srsly. I remember levelling in one encounter, then again in another encounter directly after it. Was pretty epic.

FINALLY BEAT THE CACTUARS. It wasn't the way I had intentionally planned to fight them though ( wanted to see if Zantetsuken would work {didn't} and I ended up running around the battlefield for an hour, waiting for my DMW to help me). I lvled up like 10 levels, focused my stats n health ( 70,??? now), strength and def and ended up winning ( mostly thanx to Rush Assualt Limit break).

-Now I'm stuck again on the mission right before Minerva. Difficult because enemies have str in #'s. Heeeeelp meeee! >.<

What is your setup? You need to have your stats maxed out to 255 and have good accessories and materia to beat the last two missions. Go farming for adamantie to convert in materia fusion.

I can max out a few of my stats with those energy suits. I'll probably have to change more than one stat to Vit+100 and get a quake with strong magical damage. I'll have to up and change my stats for the best. No easy way out of this eh. -_-
