Atlantida/Final Fantasy XIII

First of all im new in this forum and i dont know if someone has already post a thread with this subject, i hope not. Im from Portugal so soory my english.correct my gramatical errors>_<.
K.....Hi dont know when or where but i read that the disney animated film:Atlantida has a very similar story compared to Final Fantasy XIII.
I had curiosity so i saw the movie Atlantida ( my litle cousins have it), and i was shocked!! Look like square-enix based on this film to make Final Fantasy XIII(in terms of culture)

The movie is about a group of explorers who want to find Atlantida.When they found it they discover that atlantida is a big city, a utopia, with advanced technology, a place very similar to Cocon and gess what, Atlantida was created by a Crystal whic is the source of all things in Atlantida. I dont remenber very well about the movie but when the crystal fells that Atlantida is in danger he tranfer his powers to someone special, and give to that person the mission to protect and save Atlantida( i know that Lightings mission is destroy and no protect). Like the government in Cocon, the royality( i dont know the word;) its like the royal family)of Atlantida hate outsiders. The crystal also invent things.

Of course the story in Final Fantasy XIII will be very different from Atlantida but looks like Final Fantasy XIII is inspired in this movie.
I recomend everyone to see the movie..the movie isnt a masterpiece but see it for yourself. By the way..the movie was released many years before Final Fantasy XIII anouncement.

Yeah i saw that movie to and i never thought about it but from what we know so far they do have some similarities obviously there are some differences but yeah that thing about the crystals they are really similar and don't worry about you're grammer i was able to understand everything you said btw welcome to the forums.

Anyways, a tag is like a keyword to help find this thread, like for example: Final Fantasy XIII, Atlantida, movie

Those are examples of keywords you could use but you dont have to use em, but it helps

im new in this forum.

what you say was intresting, so i watched the movie(my little sister got it, she`s a disney freak) and it`s 90% sure that they got the idea of the movie.

Fabula nova crystallis = the new tale of the crystal(or something like it) :D

like in the movie the crystal was the life energy source for the atlantica people.
and we know that in ff13 the crystal is in a very big role

it will be intresting to see how much they take ideas of the movie.

I m happy you saw the movie. I think every FFXIII fan should see it cause there are SO MANY similars( as far we know).

yeah.. i enjoyed it..it was fun to watch a cartoon. i don`t remember when i last watched a disney movie. i think they have taken some of influence about all the atlantis stuff.. it will be intresting too see when the game are ready :D
