Sony's take on FFXIII to 360

I saw this earlier and felt sorry for Jack Tretton :/. He actually sounded almost genuinely disappointed. I think the North America only thing is a mistake on his part.

im dissappointed that square-enix decided to make FF13 multi-plat but think about it x360 can have this game, we r getting one its best games ever bioshock and as a bonus it is gonna be on blu-ray which as most of u may already know can store so much more data, so it will look way better on our system than on theirs. plus we have FFvs13 which looks so much better, even the story sounds better (to me anyway).

once again with the common misconception that Blu-ray = better graphics..no, it doesnt,,it means more space, for more game in 1 disc, not better looking game. how the graphics look is dependant on the hardware. look at it this way,..with blu -ray i can put the entire super good looking Ff13 on 1 disc, whereas with DVD ill take that same beautiful game, but have it split into multiple discs.

It seems he isn't to worried about it, which I think is great because he's not letting it lower "his defenses" you could say. Therefor I stay loyal to Sony with the shiny and black ps3; you know what they say:

To be honest it was unexpected but somewhat expected...reading on here that Square-Enix has trouble with money it only makes sense for them to expand themselves unless Sony gives them more money to stay with Playstation exclusively. I mean they have to make money too right?


However I believe it would be on Nintendo Wii sooner than it would expand to X-Box simply because Final Fantasy began in Nintendo and they already have a few of the older titles and the newer hand-held ones. But due to again what I've heard(since I'm not too keen on such details) that Nintendo Wii's bad graphical support, which is a signature almost for Final Fantasy nowadays.


Another thing... I thought X-Box 360 supported HD-DVD doesn't that hold a lot of space as well?

As a fan I don't really care which one it goes to I hate having exclusive titles anyway since you have to buy that system to play that game. But to be honest since I own both the PS1 and PS2 I will probably end up buying the PS3 sooner I collect enough money just to play Final fantasy so I guess that shows how much Exclusive titles have an impact.

well the wii is simply incapable of FF13 so if there were a version for it, it would have to be completely different..as for hd-dvd..you cant use that for games since youd then be requiring the add on and u just cant do that-- a few dvds should be enough
