Contrary to the title of this thread, there's nothing dirty going on here ;)
I'm in a band and I've been striving to use some whacky instrumentation alongside the normal Korg synths, guitars and drums, to get a nice different sound.
Basically I'm wanting to show a few of these insane musical instruments / fx pedals that I've purchased and to find out if anyone else is into their sci-fi sounds (and if so, can they suggest some new equiptment?).
First up, we have one of the most hauntingly beautiful sounds:
YouTube - "Once Upon a Time in the West" with DOEPFER R2M
The Doepfer. This is more or less a space age violin - I've always wondered what an orchestra section of these together would sound like
Next, this is more or less a similar situation to the Doepfer, it's a theremin.
YouTube - Theremin Lydia Kavina plays "Claire de Lune"
AND FOR THOSE ZELDA FANS:
YouTube - The Legend of Zelda Theme on theremin
The Fuzz Factory:
YouTube - Fuzz Factory Demo (basicly can be an " Oscillation Demo"LOL)
So these are the three I've just purchased - anyone know of anything else out there? Enjoy :)
Oh and those of you who are Muse fans out there (which is a fair few I gather from the 'What are you currently listening to' thread, will probably orgasm round about now.)
