My teacher was discussing the importance of studying for your algebra tests and I suddenly was thinking of Nero and Kits trip to Las Vegas to see the Grand Canyon. Since I didn't know exactly where it was I asked her "Where's the Grand Canyon?". She looked at me like I had five heads, and everyone started laughing.

Now to the unusual name of the thread and Hextans quote at the top. Its a common mistake that when your mind is blank, you say stuff without thinking. (beer helps too) I once met a new girl, (daughter of a friend of mom.) and said that. How I managed to do that is history, but somehow it was not a good first impression.
