Well theres been very little information released so we're trying to grab onto any leads possible. October 19th will be Sony's "Gamers Day" which is an event in San Fransisco Pre-Playstation 3 release featuring playable demos, trailers and screenshots for games on the console. As TGS was such a dissapointment for us does anyone think any information will be released here?
If not we may end up waiting until 16th December for Jump Festa where Square-Enix usually make an appearance :(

I think it will be something to look for and we may be surprised to see it... but, having said that, I wouldn't hold your breath.

I expect there will be an extension of a video we've already seen, but nothing more, at least until december anyway :(

I can hope, but I don't see it coming. Bigger chance of scans. How about that Famitsu mag you got Kitmitsu?

We don't know. Guess they can't agree if the trailer is good enough for the public. It "could" decrease the sales>_<. I can't find a good reason.

I think its because they want people to go all the way to TGS and pay to see it :P Its ashame they dont release it, I'm sure alot of fans would appreciate it. I know we would.

I'm sure we'll see something new by the years end. If we don't I will be extremely pissed. They'll be something I'm sure of it. Square wouldn't just enter the new year without any new news.

We could send them a email asking them. Would be so cool if we got it! :D but I have a hard time finding a place to send it. any idea?

I have heard of people emailing Square-Enix in the past about Advent Children information. There must be some place to do it but I cant find it anywhere. If someone can find it, it would be appreciated :P

Kitmitsu had some psychic powers (http://forums.finalfantasy-xiii.net/showpost.php?p=4247&postcount=1)when he foresaw the upcoming of FFXIII at Jump Festa. Square put out a list of different games they will show to the public. Its nothing about Versus in this one, so expect the trailer to be further delayed.
Chocobo and the Magic Picture Book
Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII
Dawn of Mana (Seiken Densetsu 4)
Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker
Final Fantasy VI Advance
Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings
Final Fantasy XIII
Kingdom Hearts II: Final Mix+ and RE: Chain of Memories
Jump Festa 2007 will take place December 16-17 this year.

Shees, must have slipped past me this one. News have been out for some days. (blame google for late crawling)
Kitmitsu was right with Jump Festa, there is nothing about Versus, and we don't give a damn about Agito. And that sums it up.

Let's see if Square Enix will tell us something more about the game, or even about release date  at Jump Festa 2007... that would be a nice Christmas' gift

Hi, welcome to the forums Mirwyn
Disney wants Kingdom Hearts III At the moment the project is not in the plans of Square Enix. In one recent interview granted to the Japanese publication Dengeki PlayStation, Tetsuya Nomura, director of the saga Kingdom Hearts, the film Advent Children and designer of FFVII, FFX or The Bouncer - among others it has declared that Disney has requested to Square Enix the development of Kingdom Hearts III. Whatsoever, Nomura declares to be too much occupied at the moment and has explained that, so far, is not something that is in agenda.
The next number of the magazine that will arrive at Japan the 2 from November will include an interview with Motomu Toriyama (Director of FFXIII for PlayStation 3) and Tetsuya Nomura, where it hopes that they speak of new the Final Fantasy and more details are clarified on the return of Sora, Donald and Goofy to the videojuegos.

Online translation, but it gives a meaning.
So, with a bit of luck, we should get a new interview before Jump Festa

Well, I hope they make it clear if she is the main character. Just that trailer keeps making it look like she is! If the rumors are true, I guess she'd be the Ashe/Yuna/Tifa & Aeris/Garnet main then? I sure hope not =( I'd truly love to see a strong, independant female as the lead this time.

Ashe is the lead of FFXII. Vaan plays almost little to no part in the overall story.

But Ashe is a very strong woman. So I was suspecting that you ment she wasn't strong willed.

That wasn't what I meant at all. I was trying to give a general idea *sighs* Just forget it. I'm going to stay shutted up since if I try to make any point it's invalidated -.-

No, I read your point, but square said that another strong, independant female (not her) would be in the lead. But do I wish we could get some more about them all.
I wonder who could top the one we have seen now.

Wait they said this directly? I thought it was given from a magazine whom could have supposedly had a mistranslation?

More or less, she wont. 95% she wont be.
But square keeps calling her "heroine".

Thus meaning we can't make any assumption until Square gives us more information which is unlikely to be any time soon.

I read in a FFXIII site (not sure if it's true) that Square Enix first told that the game they're planning to do couldn't be Final Fantasy XIII. Well, actually it is Final Fantasy XIII.
They didn't say that she isn't the main character, but she can be one of the main characters... we can't say anything about this yet, we'll just have to wait until Square gives us more information any time soon.
But square keeps calling her "heroine".
Maybe they're giving us a clue...

Thats the last 5%. Square said she wont be the main, yet she is the heroine.

Anyone on your team is a hero/heroine. She just isn't a enemy, that is all it tells us.

Exactly. They call her a heroine because shes a good guy. I also read somewhere (cant remember now XD probably a magazine) that there wasnt going to be an actual main character but the story focused equally on them all. Not sure how that would work out but its just a rumor. Also Square has said that she "probably" wont be the main character so its quite certain.

Read that too somewhere. It come and goes on wikipedia based on rumors I think. But then the game will sorta feel like FFXI if it lacks a main. I like more His or Her story. The one we keep track of the entire game. I don't like the idea of someone who could come late into the game and be treated the same place in the spotlight. But I have to play the game before I can come to a real conclusion.

Well FFXI is "your" story. Missions only involve you and maybe some other NPC's. Going from getting butt raped by worms to taking down a god lets XI be easier to follow(kinda). And well you don't play as anyother character so I don't see how anyone is more important then you in that respect.

That more then one character has importance has been in the FF series for a while. But more recently known in X and XII. I kind of like it, myself. I wouldn't want a group of people with me just to fill a gap.
