Trailer Observations

well, i was checking those two pic, and realized- the flags are different , but statues in * mafia pic* and in the trailer are the same.
I think, first means that these are two separated kingdoms, maybe enemies in the case of a crystal, but the second says, they have... similar religion? Statues meaning is somehow connected to each other, i guess.
what do you think?

In the Cloud DVD trailer the prince uses a gun, does he grab it off a dead soldier or is this another weapon in his arsenal? also is it a gunblade or just a gun.

I always assumed he took it from one of the soldiers. Shows how much I was paying attention the thousands of times I've seen it. Anyway I'd say it looks more like an Assualt Rifle here. It looks too big to be a submachine gun.

I'm almost certain I can't see a blade anywhere on it either so I doubt it's a gunblade.

its probably a gunbade, but different form the average gunblade like Squall's. if looked closely, the top of the gun seems like a blade. therefore it could be a gunblade. i dunno.^_^

its just his arm opened up straight forward with his wrist disrupting the line. its also due to the angle of the screen that makes it look funny.^_^

well when i saw the trailer in slow motion and frame by frame, I noticed that the gun that he has has three barrels to it but still only fires from one barrel. does anyone think that this is a multi purpose gun or what?

for Lightning i think its the light hitting her hair but its just my guess and for the prince i thought he always looked likecloud from the start to me.

His hair color changes to white temporarily while teleporting. That's all i know.

Her hair has nothing to do with chainging colour, it is the way lighting is hitting her hair. Nothing to do with colour change. End.

As for the vs Protagonist, he pretty much has the same facial structure like most FF male characters. So he's blatantly going to look like other characters within the franchise.

No they didnt, but they didnt show it because in the DVD they cut that part out because it takes awhile for his eyes to glow and a waste of time. and i nocticed it because in the E3 trailer, right before his eyes glow a piece of glass passes his eye right before and in the cloud trailer it doesnt.

I belive that when he teleports his body becomes a clear color then vanishing. When he reappeared the shot was took right when he appeared again his body still a clear color. You nay notice the after image of his body when he teleports also.

I think the red glow in his eyes have a limit to their use. I think his power is very limited. If you saw in the trailer he was kicking ass. then at the end of it he stops fighting and walks back inside. He leaves all those soliders outside. It was very weird that he did if he was ment to protect the crystal then he should have killed them all. So my assumption is that after he activates his power and his eyes glow a deep red. He then uses his power for a limited amout of time before he gets tired. I belive if he were to continue this battle useing his power his body may start to fall apart on him and his fighting ability drops so a critical rate.

I probably am the first to notice that during XIII's E3 '08 trailer, the Tribal Girl summoned Carbunkle in the middle of a crowd of cautiously watching people. The backround's blurred and the shots are fast, and Carbunkle obscured most of it, but look close enough and you'll see the onlookers. Most/all of them are dressed the same. Probably test clothing or something.

I've got two screens for convenience :P Posting 'em straight up. The first is a group of legs before the Tribal Girl grabs the disk, and the second, as Carbunkle flies out, shows torsos and heads.

His left arm probably looks bent b/c he was probably grabbing the wep. pretty quick to make it look like his arm was bended.

I too was one of the ones who thought he had taken it off a fallen soldier but now because of this image I can see that the guns definitely are not the same so it must be noctis's from his assortment of weapons.
