Two Ideas-

hello I recently joined this site and love it already but I have two idea's that I think would make it even awesomer. the two idea's are:

Profile-Music-
Profile-Video-

I think the music would be similar to how on myspace you go to the profile and there is a song. people can chose whatever song they want wheather it had been a song they had downloaded or something. this song doesn't have to be FF or KH or even video game related it can just be whatever a song to express themselves or what ever.

and profile videos

like how you can have the photo albums you could have video ones to. if people had any FF AMV's or just whatever they wanted to post if(not including porn lol you have to follow the rules)

I second this comment i think its a great idea because thats all thats missing and it would make it more unique than the other FFXIII forums.

Well, I hate how songs play on the myspace pages, plus, it would be a pain in the ass to configure.

And I could care less about FMV's. I don't think many people here do them anyway (or the active members at least).

I can see lags in page loading and the server crashing. Plus we really just don't need it, if you're spending that much time in people's profiles you might as well just go to MySpace anyway, and I for one like to listen to my own music while I'm on the forums so I don't want to check someone's profile to warn them (heh heh) and have Britney's latest effort or your favourite J-pop song come blasting out at me. We have a thread for people to post what they're listening to if they care enough to tell the world. And finally 'awesomer' isn't a word, your credibility doesn't need the kind of help that using it provides.

Whiplash has said it all. Youtube, Limewire, Morpheus, Kaaza (LOL mother of all virus), Videoh, iTunes--they all exist to play and download media files.

Music isn't possible, video is. However this isn't a social networking site so I don't think videos automatically starting on peoples profiles would impress people much.

Whiplash pretty much summed it up.....Im indecisive about the music though...For the amvs etc threads are the alternative.Lag is definitely a problem especially for those with internet servers which fail *cough* mine* fug joo virgin media.Anyways spending too much time on others profiles could affect forum activity :aldo:

I think your ideas are cool, it is just not really feasible on this forum. There are alternative ways that already exist, as you can check out the thread with people's myspace pages, or go to the thread "What are you listening to now?" where you can get titles of song you've never heard before from artists you didn't know of, and find some cool songs or songs you don't like. Myspace is cool, but this forum is better.
