He made some cool jazz songs in the Final fantasy VIII game. here are them. Try to listen to the jazz keaboard. Cool:
YouTube - Final Fantasy VIII Music - Under Her Control
YouTube - Final Fantasy VIII - Force Your Way
That was two. This is of Noriko Matsueda and Takahito Eguchi. I am sure there are more and this one too in Final Fantasy X-2:
YouTube - FFX-2 Yuna's Theme Full
This is really cool to combine jazz with some cool tracks. I love it. One one the most beloved tracks from my side.

I don't know that I'd describe Force Your Way as jazz, regardless of the presence of a keyboard. One instrument does not a genre make.

You just reminded me of my hate for "Force your way". I heard it for the first time and was thought "get this techno submarine bullshit out of my game!"

Ok, just to my suspection I was right about FFX-2 not being composed by Uematsu, I believe FFXI was the last FF to have music composed by Uematsu, but I definitely remember FFX-2 not being composed by him. Just wiki'd it, and I'm quite sure if I look at my game box or look at other sources it's evident that Uematsu didn't do the music for X-2.

Okey, but the meaning was that if not uem then square - enix are inspired of that jazz combination in the tracks

They use a lot of musical styles and they wouldn't be the first. Nor would they be the best.

Ok, just to my suspection I was right about FFX-2 not being composed by Uematsu, I believe FFXI was the last FF to have music composed by Uematsu,FFXI was mainly composed by Mizuta. Uematsu and Tanioka only did a handful of tracks for the original non-expansion release of FFXI.

What the hell is this thread even about? O_O With all the grammar shit, I can't even tell. >.> Yes, it's true Uematsu did not compose for X-2 at all. And calling something jazz? I'd just say it's pretty funky.
