I am a fan of the Mandragora's from FFXI fame. They made a appearance in FFXII as well.

Ultima & Omega Weapon from FFXI would agree. It's not because they are hard to reach...takes like 50 fucking minutes to get to Ultima Weapon plus with mini boss...whattabitch, but the design of the monster is worth seeing.

At the Phon Coast. Though you fight many variations of the family up until then.

I like the Malbros in Final Fantasy XII best because of the tentacles moving. So cool^^

through all ff there were so many original monsters, i really like all the one you mentioned above, but somehow zool from ff7, stayed in my memories,(the giant snake on marsh)

olorin 818,i really hate dat giant snake which automatically chase u when u jz enter d marsh whitout a chocobo n kill u easily or get ejected.
but tonberry is kinda cute,moving slowly n use very deadly attack, SE even make plush toy 4 it none the less kupo

One enemy I particularly hated in FF VII was a bomb guy I almost always fought on a bridge... When its explosion attack didn't killed me, it left me helpless D:

Even worse was my first accidental encounter with the Emerald Weapon... and I didn't had saved for a long time... :aldo:

Has to be Coeurl's. I use that name all the time in MMO's. They only really look good in FFX though.
