I don't now where this should go if here, but I found this really awesomely done commercial for Final Fantasy XIII. I think what really got it is the fact the music is from Final Fantasy XIII. I think it's pretty much the very first actual Remix of FFXIII out there.

I don't know, I mean he linked me to it. I'm being honest when I said I didn't make it. It probably is recent. But since it says a comment was made 58 minutes ago it's about a hour ago recent. Either that or youtube is just really slow, because I see three comments, and I didn't make a comment. I don't know your youtube user name so I don't know if you made a comment or not.

I'm not quite clear on how you worded your sentences about remixes and such, but here's my take on it:

The fan-done background music remix is not bad, but only works to it's full potential if it was looped, and most likely would be a battle theme song if it were to be implimented in a game setting.

From what I've seen, the youtube account for Fairuzon, the artist, was made one month ago. He also is presumably the artist for the fan-made music. I am a frequent visitor of newgrounds, been visiting since like 5-6 years ago and counting, great place to find many great flash animations and artists.

Now what I don't understand is, why your first few posts happens to already have a video of a fan-done art. You claim you are not the artist, yet you post it without hesitation... which leads me to believe you are actually the artist himself, or a really good friend/friend that he trusted you to go around Final Fantasy XIII related sites to promote the video. So to this artist, you can even link this page as I have a msg for him: If you want people to look at your stuff, post them yourself. Don't have lackies or fans post them for you, it lowers your credibility and creates confusion for the authenticity of the actual piece of artwork. Oh, and it might be wise for you to actually mention in that video that all images, characters, and such are a work of and property of Square-Enix and Tetsuya Nomura.

I must admit for an amateur, you're not bad, but the actual timing of footage combined with the music and the execution of certain scene changes are not original. I felt like I was watching an adobe premiere or film editting program hack and slash compilation remake of the original FFXIII trailer, with a remix bg music. My 12 year old niece can probably compile a similar project in about 2-3 days worth of time. No, I'm not saying she understands the complete concept of composing and remixing music for clarity, although she is a devil of a child and composing her own music as we speak. But she can make mad films and animation, I'm quite positive she will be a great artist one day.

the music was very well done! I can't wait for the PS3 commercial to come on and then you know how the PS3 explodes into tons of weird weapons,gadgets, and stuff and then it will show either final fantasy XIII clips or final fantasy Versus XIII clips, or maybe even both depending on if they are released on the same day.... ah yes that day will be great.... too bad it will be a long time from now
