3 days ago I got into a really bad car accident (again) and my friend was with me...the car that hit us hit us going like 100+ mph. it hit the passengers side where my friend was...the impact killed my friend and put me in the hospital for 2 days....I'm pissed off and sad...I dont know how to feel....

Jeeze, that is not cool at all. A similar thing happened to my brother and his friend when he was pulling a trailer on his way to help move stuff. The lady who was driving fell asleep at the wheel going 80+ slammed into the back of them, the trailer flew off in one direction and he went towards the median (thank God it was a huge grassy one and not a super busy section of the highway), but he rolled and completely fucked his truck up. Luckily they managed to get out of that one alive, but we found out the lady in the other car had 2 other passengers, the one in the front who apparently also fell asleep and a baby in the back.

Some people just shouldn't be allowed to have licenses.

It's a damn shame your friend had to go like that, and although I don't know what it's like to lose someone close to me, I give you my condolences. Glad you survived though and I hope you'll be alright.

Yup, if anything it'll be manslaughter. They'll go to jail, be charged with reckless driving and have their license taken away for some time if not forever.

Anyone who drinks and drives should be charged for murder because that's basically what they're doing, putting other people's lives at risk. It's not a case of 'I didn't mean to kill anyone' because they know they're drunk and they could hurt someone but they still do it.

Exactly, the way the court system is run in England is shambles.
Life = 25 years, which is utterly pathetic.
And ultimately, i personally think the death sentence should be brought back, and offenders should be punished serverly. Then maybe our communities wouldn't be so full of digrading groups.

Try the West Australian system where judges are required to reduce their sentences by a third. Judge gives someone 20 years, they only get 15.

EDIT: Turns out that they were so quick to rush him and me to the hospital (even though he wasn't really hurt) and they didn't keep his DUI on record *sigh* So the cops fuck up AND the hospital's made him a free man...so no records equals no case I guess.....
