who your favorite esper if you have one? mine would have to be Ultima because shes the one who started the rebellion against the gods

None of them. The espers suck, the only reason you'd EVER want to use them is if you only have 1 party member left or you just wanna see their awesome attacks.

A full party does like twice as much damage as an esper.

Rev is fully correct. I hated haveing just one character. Think if the people surrounded you and kept hitting you? Then what you die and the esper goes away in like 10 secs after summoning. Then you have to revive. then you had the item limit bar. So you can't keep healing yourself after loseing 90% hp all the time.

yeah when I first used them I had no info on them before hand I thought you could get to play them but they were right beside you which i hated

For battle,the espers were mostly worthless for me (except that one time where I hade to use Belias,to defeat tons of water flans) but I personally loved designs and bakground stories of the espers though.And how they are based on the star signs really intrests me :cookie:

Belias even though the weakest was one of my faveourites.His orgin/bakground story was bit sad,and the best bakground story of all the espers IMO.

Mateus had a nice design, can't say much but I loved that espers design.

Adrammelech was indeed my faveourite of faveourites for espers because, I love goat dragon monsters who use the thunder element to zap stupid monsters (like Vaan,joking :cunning:)

Yeah,Belias was the most interesting,his story showed some emotion while the others descriptions say how the espers were all supporting Ultima and fightning a war,and such. And their techniques to weaken the gods were cliche.2/13 espers holded a goddesses as hostage

yeah I read a story on fanficition.net about each of the espers and their point of views on their rebellion and its really quite good.

I preferred to use my characters' special attacks (I can't remember what they're called x_x) because they were far stronger and could theoratically go on forever. Regardless, my favorite was Adremmellech (Obtained in Zertinan Caverns)

Yeah they were quite useless save for Chaos. I haven't got Ultima and Zodiark yet to say anything on their utility.

But like others, I was more fond of their design and their backstory, that was a pretty interesting plus. I hated most of their final attack graphics though, I don't know why I found it to be so much fail. It just was. Save Chaos again imo.

...Chaos is my favorite D': I have a weird obsession with Ultima as well.

i must admit i still need to pick up my FF12, and get the rest of the Espers, plus finish the hunts, and get the best Gswords, but im in middle of a few games right now, but so far my Fav Esper was Zelera, i think thats his name, with the babe stuck to him lol

it was ultima but now I'm starting to lean more towards Zodiark

Zodiark was pretty cool and Ultima was just plain kickass. :aldo: I can't seem to give a better reason.... Perhaps cuz she was fun to get after Zodiark. I never summoned any espers during my battle with Yiazmat... Amleya <--- obsessed with Yiazmat battle now :wub:

Favorite esper is Zodiark. Limit break is soo cool, Can't believe that Zodiark is young and if he's an adult, he can destroy everything. Can't believe he can't be that useful with beating Yiazmat. Took me more than a week to beat Yiazmat trying to use some summons but even Zodiark couldn't help that much. but he's still my favorite esper

I haven't obtained ultima and zodiark yet so i can't say anything about them but for now my best is chaos but i'll have to get these two to say anything more....

EDIT:they really messed up the thing by putting bahamut,one of the best summons-into a boat or whatever that "sky fortress bahamut" is supossed to mean(haven't beaten the game yet so i don't quite understand what bahamut exactly is):D
