Lots of people seem to be rather concerned about whats been "going on" lately and a lot of people have the wrong idea. Oh, and this "tyranny against Kitimitsu" I have NO idea where that has come from.
I'd like to first point out about this whole "You're insulting new members thing" - this is completely untrue and I don't know where these claims are coming from. If this is referring to people like Thimien, we made a joke, obviously not trying to upset him, but then he just assumed and it suddenly turned into everyone else assuming that we were laughing at his Dyslexia?! I didn't even know he had it until he told me, and that was after a few people laughed at his spelling. He then started feeling sorry for himself saying things like "Im proud that ive got the guts to post on a forum".
Second, people have also been saying that we don't appreciate Blank's translations. Of course we do, everyone does. We thank her in every post and thank her in the threads and everything and I'm not sure how much more obvious we can make it. Someone specifically said that it was partly because I didn't update a page and "lied that I did". Here's the truth; When you post a news article we have to do it on both the versus domain and the xiii domain separately. When you leave an article for a while then edit it, sometimes you have to clear the news scripts cache and it loads your changes, but that quite rarely happens. I edited it on Versus and it worked, but for some reason on finalfantasy-xiii.net it wanted me to clear the cache. At the time I didn't realise, so when people were having a go at me and telling me to add the link to the full translation or whatever I just said I had because I thought it had worked like every other time.
The most recent article was misinterpreted by Kitmitsu by a google translate which is understandable because we can't read Japanese.
Most people here clearly have a different sense of humor from the select few that now spam SHFL [A new category created to stop people accidentally coming across posts that might offend them]. While we never meant to offend anyone and I'm sorry if you were offended by anything, you have to understand, at the same time as me being sorry, that there are different types of humor and this is the internet. People who are easily offended should be alright now though because of SHFL.
Hopefully this will resolve things and we can all be happy friends again.
