I saw this the other DAI. :aldo: I think it looks pretty good. The inventory system looks pretty original too. :aldo:
Look at him walk down those steps though... hopefully pre-alpha. :aldo:

And all the combination things (they showed) was just sticky tape + lol. I hope there's more you can do than throw things and shoot them and throw things with sticky tape, wait a bit, then shoot them. :aldo:

STICKYTAPE + GUN = DIFFICULTY RELOADING :aldo: That'd be a well frustrating way to die. :aldo:

Haha, I thought that. Nagase's going to be better than all of us at this game if thats how you play. :aldo:
There'd better not be an inventory limit. :nag: That was fucking frustrating in Silent Hill 4.

Old news. Saw that 3 days ago. :aldo:
I didn't even know about this series until this one (the other ones are pretty old and don't seem to be worth my time), but 5 is lookin' pretty schnazzy so far. I think it's gonna be something I need to pick up.

Not many people do, its hard to get hold of the orginal games, definatly 1 and 3. I've only be able to get 1, 2 and 4. Can't find number 3 ANYWHERE D;
But the orginal games are amazing. Definatly worth playing if you get your hands on them.
But Number 5 will be amazing. :aldo: Hopefully.
We have a game store here that usually has really hard to find games. I went to them to try and find the regular, non-greatest hits version of Final Fantasy XII because everyone else only had the GH one. I also got FFV and VI there in the anthology, so perhaps they'll have the games. If not I can maybe ask them to direct me where I could.

What's the story behind this particular game?
It seems that the game continues in Central Park this time, with the protagonist from the first game, Edward Carnby (paranormal investigator).
The game story centers around myths, allegations, and suspicions of clandestine activity in tunnels found below the park. Upon current speculation, a secret society may have an at least minor degree of involvement with the activities of the game's plot. This shadowy society, or organization, is hinted at in the synopsis found in the official game website, and is said to have protected startling secrets from the public, like possible sinister activities in the park, for years. At the time of the game story, it is assumed that this society's effort to keep its secrets from leaking to the public has failed, where the synopsis states, "...the truth can no longer be contained."
~Wikipedia
That's basically what it says on the official website. Wikipedia just goes a bit more in depth in their assumptions. Other than that there isn't too much more information.

I freakin' loved Alone in the Dark on the PC. I suggest you play it NOW. It isn't as great as Resident Evil 1 or 2, but that's only because it was made in 1992, when gaming was still evolving.
To be honest, Alone in the Dark: The New Nightmare wasn't a huge hit because it had left its origins and it concentrated too much on trying to mimic Capcom. But this new one looks amazingly better. Better than Resident Evil 4, and I wanna be proven wrong here.
