I got the perfect one with Tidus' revival after having restarted the game 3 times because I figured I missed the conditions, such as talking to Meichen, hitting O buttons wherever required etc...X-2 is a pain in the ass when it comes to details and w/o cheats I dont think Id have survived.

I can never understand why people hate X-2 so much. I don't think it's right. It's a great game that, like you said, evokes nostalgia. That's one of the reasons I love it so much. Theme songs were great and so was the continuing storyline. Fun gameplay. I just don't get it.

Indeed, X-2 lacked so much, the characters where flimsy and completely shaped the wrong way.
The story was relatively Ok, but it lacked so much dept compared to it's predecessor.
