The latest issue of Shonen Jump says that Dissidia: Final Fantasy on PSP, Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days on Nintendo DS and Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep on PSP will be fully playable at JF08 D:

I imagine I'd be more excited if I were at all keen to get these games but for some reason I'm just not.

Maybe I should go to a doctor.

Yeah I'm not excited at all about the JF08 lol. If only 358/2 was for PSP... (Organization XIII for life \o\)

This is awesome!

These three games are near the top of my 'Most Wanted' games list. I'm ecstatic actually. Why? Because I never expected Birth By Sleep and 358/2 Days to be playable already. This is damn early I reckon. Which is good news to me, they must be further along in development than I expected.

As for Dissidia, this is also awesome news, although I'm not as surprised that it's playable atm as I am with the Kingdom Hearts games, because Dissidia was announced a long while ago, so this is not a surprise, but still great news.

Speaking of Dissidia, any recent news on this? Squall was the last confirmed character to my knowledge, but anyone since then?

Tch, so a whole year from now they'll still just be playable at Events. Meaning this time next year none of them will be out still >.>

How I wish I could go although it's far off so maybe. Ah who am I kidding. I hope people catch footage of BBS though. And it is a little exciting but by then most of the info on the battle system will be out, i'm guessing. Exciting if your going but if your not hope for official or leaked gameplay vids like 358/2 Days. Except longer and a little less blurry this time Please kthanx

Yeah, I didn't see a demo for it at JF ~_~ It /was/ playable at TGS and was available both at SE's and Sony's booths there. I do have the play controls for 358/2 though. Was not impressed with gameplay T_T But was fun for fan factor.

I don't think it's known yet.

And sorry guys, I lied. Birth By Sleep was available to play at JF. XD

It was just lines were done by ticketing and all the tickets were given out in the mornings.

Oh, I never noticed that members were missing, but since we didn't get a choice of mission, it's possible that for the specific one we were doing, plot-wise, only certain members were usable... it /is/ possible that there will be members you can never use.

The sheet literally says "Characters you CAN play with" but that's in regards to this demo.

Dissidia demo did NOT have 20 playable characters listed on the control sheet, nor even 10 heroes, if I'm remembeing correctly, so the demos aren't a very good indicator of the game's full playability.

I like to think the whole concept of the game is just pure fan-fodder anyway :wtf:

Despite me being guilty of wanting that giant Roxas statue, as it is right now I don't think I'm interested enough in Roxas' days in the Organization to get this game. Though gameplay in KH is normally first on my list, so I have to ask why it was that you were unimpressed with the gameplay, and why you think it mostly caters to fans - is it cause it features the Org. members?

It was just... the gameplay was really REALLY awkward... Like, booth babe needs to stand with each team of players and when they get close to the box they're supposed to examine, tell one player to wait at the box while the others kill surrounding enemies cause if you fall, it's gunna take forever to get back to the spot, and it's extremely easy to fall and very hard to recover one's perch, kind of awkward.

Also, many many many empty-air attacking incidents due to poor lock-on capabilities in a system that isn't conducive to precise aim.

Also, we didn't use the DS's touch screen at all, which instantly = "shouldn't be on a crapass DS in the first place" to me.

The story looks interesting and depressing, both of which I like in my games, but BBS's system was much more fun to actually play. BBS also looks depressing though XD

Hia Blank! Did you get to play/see someone playing with Aqua. Cause reports say that Aqua was playable :)

Ugh... snagged ticket to play BBS but the CMT showing was so long I didn't make it in time for my BBS time and ended up lining up for CMT again T_T; Dammit my stupid...

I totally had time, but was writing my report up right after I came out of CMT so I wouldn't forget anything.. GAH ;_; So no, I didn't get to play as Aqua.. I played as Terra at TGS, where Aqua was unplayable. Ven was playable though. I saw someone else play Ven.

i cant wait for all these hand held games, spcialy Birth By sleep saw the gametrailers trailer, and gameplay looks so good.

BBS gameplay really confused me... I'm actually going to need to read the manual or at least have a solid combo tutorial for it, cause I couldn't get off most of my good attacks just by looking at the menus~ XD

It does look very fun.

Yeah, if I do any translation, it's just going to be a little blurb summary. XD I don't anticipate new info, and don't know the news well enough to know what's new.
