The site is loading slowly for me right now. Hope it doesn't persist. Anyone else have this?

Yeah it's quite laggy for me as well

Me messing with scripts? Hell this is my day off :P. I've not been on the site too much today but I haven't noticed any slow down or lag. Are people still experiencing it and if so, is it contained on just the forums or is the whole site affected?

Yeah, it was the entire site Kit. It was loading ridiculously slow the other day, but it seems to be working just fine now.

It's probably our host in that case. They aren't the most reliable on speed but they're good value and have a lot of space and bandwidth. If we get a lot of money from ads this year, I'll consider moving host to hopefully fix the problem :).

For anyone interested, there was actually an earthquake in San Fransisco yesterday near the datacentre where out server is kept. Our host says it didn't affect any servers but other customers have been complaining about sites going down and slow down. At least it's a cool way for the site to slow down.

Prepare to laugh. Got the actual reason why the site is slowing down. Turns out some IP's are constantly connecting and attacking our server causing stress. It's happened before so it isn't anything to big. Thing is my host emailed me with the IPs they've banned and one of them is mine...so I'm banned from my own site for some reason XD. The only way I can post here is by using Dantes site to get onto the forums. I should be unbanned soon though :P. Anyway, in the interests of our sexy members and the fact we're actually making money off of our ads, I've decided to upgrade my hosting plan. I'll go into details sometime soon.

Anyway I checked your IP Tempus and it doesn't seem to be on the banned list. Can you double check it doesn't work again and if not go to http://www.ip-adress.com/ from your affected PC and copy and paste the number in a PM to me please :).
