I met Jade Raymond and played Assassin's Creed :D

Today in London in a HMV store on Oxford Street, a public demo of Assassin's Creed was shown by none other than the producer for the game herself, Jade Raymond. Whilst the demo shown was one that has been shown before, everyone who turned up got some free swag, Jade's autograph, and best of all, a go on Assassin's Creed. And I was there, right at the front :D

I hate to brag... well ok I love to brag about something like this, but I am one of six people who were the very first members of the public in the UK to play Assassin's Creed :D Hate me if you must :P I also got a poster signed by Jade, and an Official hoody :D

I only got to play on it for like 5 minutes, if that, so I barely had time to register the fact that 'OMFG I'M PLAYING ASSASSIN'S CREED!!! :O'. But I did do some free-running which was awesome, assassinate a helpless guard which was awesome, and almost get killed by a group of guards, which, ah the hell with it, was also awesome. Right before we played Jade gave us a little talk on how the controls work, just her talking to the 6 of us... I felt so privileged :)

Hehe yeah I am extremely lucky :) The hoodie is very nice, I'm wearing it right now *snuggles* :P It's like pure white though lol so if I wear it out during the day I kinda feel like I'm standing out a bit :lol:

If you do the missions and get in the mods good books, you can earn lots of points and go up in rank, and once you have enough points and are at rank 3, you can exchange the points for a hoodie, or even a t-shirt! Or a pen with a light that projects the AC logo! Or an official Xbox 360 AC faceplate! *drools*

Even though the game had gone Gold when they did the demo, they were showing us a build that wasn't final, since there were things they didn't want us to see. But I didn't encounter or see any bugs at all while I was playing or during the demo I watched, it was clean as a whistle :D

Awesome :D. Sounds alot better than what happened with the 360 demo, floating corpses, terrible collision etc etc. Is the free running as fricking awesome as expected? Does it have as much freedom as it should? /interview

:lol: Well I only got to play for 5 mins but yeah the free-running was awesome. I was climbing up walls and jumping across rooftops in no time, and you literally can go anywhere.
