Whats your favourite summon - and lets put this game wise aswell shall we?

For example you can't just say Ifrit, you'd say Ifrit in FF9. Or the likes..

Mine is probablly Shiva, FFX. I don't know why but I've always liked Shiva and the X version was just amazing. Although she is quite on par with FFX Anima.

I do. I used to use Bahamut alot, but not alot of the others in IX I have to admit. For my Final Fantasy, the summons were one thing I was kinda annoyed about.

Shiva and Anima from FFX.

Shiva for for the incredible speed and if you raise her attack enough, it's good, considering her speed to attack more than the enemy. Anima for the most badass Overdrive.

Ifrit ffx. don't know why, i guess its the way he looks, those big claws and the massive jaws. It just makes him look powerfull and kind of cool.

I really liked the FFX designs, I thought that they were really well done. But I liked the Bahamut from FFIX as well. I wish a FF would bring back Diablos or Doomtrain from FFVIII. Those two were kickass awesome in that game. Though in any game, Doomtrain is kind of cheap to use.

i allways loved Ifrit and Shiva and Bahamut, some reason, they gave me the most impact in FF7, 1st FF i ever played.

And from which game, probably Crisis Core cause it has the highest quality CG of him thus far and it is remade based on the original FFVII. I would pick Bahamut or Anima from FFX second since they were my favorites from the first Final Fantasy I played. And why is it that Anima does 99999 damage with every offensive command?

About five people on this board play FFXI currently. Everyone here finished ToAU. It's like spoiling Before Crisis, other then the three that played it no one cares.

Shame, unlike Before Crisis where the access to it is harder, if people can overlook the online aspect FFXI is a great game. Although again, or moreso than a forum you run into weird, scary people on that game. Either way, the avatars in that game rock, and I will agree that Diabolos, and Alex VS Odin is pretty cool. The SMN job is also fun to play despite it's uselessness in the early lvls besides healing party members.

Odin's my favourite because he was necessary to get Gilgamesh (but is way more useful in my opinion).

I like Ifrit because in the beginning of X when I got him he was really powerful and his hell overdrive saved my ass in a boss battle. The magus sisters are awesome the way they team up together, lol; and they're really powerful- they helped me in the final battle against Sin.
From XII I like Ultima because she's pretty:D and better looking then most of the espers in that game; plus I like her holy powers. Zodiark is very weird looking but he's very powerful and I like his final eclipse limit break;)

My favorite summons are Ark, Bahamut, Cerberus, Doomtrain, Diablo, Gilgamesh, Hades and Odin.

Each of them are very useful because of their powerful attacks and special effects. Like for example: In Final Fantasy VIII Cerberus's attack gives you double and triple ability which let's you use spells up to three times. Hades Black Cauldron attack gives status effect to the enemies, aswell as Doomtrain. Diablo's Dark Messenger attack deals 3/4 damage to all enemies, etc.

Basically I liked angel-like things a lot so Ultima wins.
