I just want to know if there are any other Castlevania fanatics out there since I can't seem to find many anymore...
So yeah basically I want to know what your opinions and favorite games in the series are (If you know or play the series)
My favorite game in the series has to be Harmony of Dissonance and its without a doubt one of the best handheld games out there.
And with the announcement on The Dracula X Chronicles I'm sold since I've seen the Opening sequence and the graphics look great, and it seems to stay true to the series from what I've seen.
(And Dracula finally looks old again O___o for once...)
Opening sequence for those who haven't seen it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_uBO-hG-ZvU
And I know so far it doesn't sound like much of a topic but like I said, I want to know other peoples thoughts on this series.

My favourite'd have to be Castlevania: Lament of Innocence and Symphony of the Night for the beautiful architecture and environment. I rather like Aria of Sorrow as well. Never played any of the older ones yet.

----It's a rare game. The soundtrack, artwork, and story all go perfectly together. The voice-acting's okay and the whole exploring the castle is a must for Castlevania fans. Symphony of the Night sets the grounds for a great Castlevania.

The voice-acting's okayI may like the line "You take men's souls" and "What is a man?" but really...the voices are horrible.
I say my favorite is maybe Aria of Sorrow just because of the time freezing bunny. I only have as far back as Dracula's Curse on the NES. I am lookng forward to X chronicles because Rondo of Blood never came out in the US. Since the original fans and metroidvania fans are split between Rondo of Blood and Symphony of the Night I want to really see what Rondo is all about.

Lament of Innocence and Legacy of Darkness for me.
Creating Innocent Devils, frickin sweet.
I've played most of the Castlevania series, but not many of the handheld ones.
Love kicking Dracula's ass.

----You need his special jump. It's one of those relics (Gravity Boots) you pick up. You use it with Down+Up+Jump button and gotta do it quickly. This skill can also be used infinitely if you got the MP.
Which top of the castle? The red moon and or the Clock Tower. Either way, you can use the Gravity Boots Relic or Bat or Mist to get up over high edges. One of the forms can be found as a relic on the east side of the castle to the right of the lift. I can't remember so much.
57%?! Go explore elsewhere. You can't be there yet anyway. Gotta be near to 100% to be past that out of 210%. o.o

----Are you in the Clock Tower or somewhere else? Is there a red moon or is it in a place where there are skulls? I'm trying to see what you mean by collapsed staircases... and pinpoint the exact location.
Are you stuck in a room with stairs, bronze pendulums in the ceiling, and the Sword Lord enemies? Because if you are, hit everywhere. Some of the walls and stairs can be broken. Double Jump can get you further, I believe. In the bottom left corner of this room, the wall can break.
Or if you're at the red-carpeted staircase in the north part of the map, forget it. Can't get there without Bat, Mist, or Gravity Boots. Look everywhere in places you've been. You'd find things like those forms with Double Jump. Or if you've got Familiars, take advantage of their exploring abilities in old places.

Ya, I just beat SotN.
I thought it was an awesome game and all-that, but its a shame that it had to end so soon...

----I can tell, you didn't get the true ending. There's more to the game. You can actually get 210% in the game. Find Maria. She knows something. First, you need Spikebreaker.

Never did quite understand why they did not cut it off at 300% or 200%, why they choose 210% I will never understand.
Yes, you need to see the secret ending though, or the "True" ending. Is there not a special ending in every Castlevania game?:|

----200% because of another castle. 10% because you can actually explore outside, the place Alucard dashed through in the beginning.

Ah, guess it makes sense now, but I still would have gone for 300% or 250%.
