Final Fantasy History


Final Fantasy is a media franchise owned by Square Enix that includes video games, motion pictures and other merchandise. It began in 1987 as an eponymous console role-playing game developed by Square, spawning a video game series that became the franchise's central focus. The franchise later branched out into other genres and platforms, such as tactical RPGs, portable games, MMORPGs and games for mobile phones. The series also spurred the release of three animated productions and two full length CGI films. The Final Fantasy video game franchise is one of the best selling video game franchises. Final Fantasy I - Final Fantasy was first title in the series and was released in Japan in 1987 for the Nintendo Entertainment System. It was later released in the United States in 1990. It is currently being remade for the Sony PSP.

Final Fantasy II was originally released on the NES in Japan in 1988.

Final Fantasy III was released on the NES in Japan in 1990.

Final Fantasy IV was released on the Super Nintendo Entertainment System in Japan and the United States in 1991, though it was originally released in the US as Final Fantasy II.

Final Fantasy V was released on the SNES in Japan in 1992.

Final Fantasy VI was released on the SNES in 1994, but was released in North America under the title Final Fantasy III.

Final Fantasy VII was released on the PlayStation in 1997 and was the first title be officially released in Europe. Its North American release also retained its original name. It is widely thought of as the best final fantasy title thus far in the series.

Final Fantasy VIII was released on the PlayStation in 1999.

Final Fantasy XIII is the latest title and is currently in development. It is part of a compilation of games, so far only three have been announced, FFXIII, Final Fantasy Versus XIII, and Final Fantasy Agito XIII.

The two consented and had a child of their own named Cid Highwind, who was distantly related to Aerith Gainsborough who was a major whore working on the streets of Midgar. Her life turned around when she met the love of her life, Vincent. The two were then married and had a child named Yuffie Kisaragi. Then Rufus summons meteor with the help of his lackey, sefiros, and destroys the planet. Sefiros' mumsie Jenova is pleased by this and rewards Rufus in hell.
