LOL PERFECT STORY JUST HAPPENED.
I went to get some cash out to get pizza and this random short, 14 year old looking chav, told me to give him the money. I was like, UHM NO, fuck off :aldo: and this other chav came up to me and said "OI M8 U STARTINZ ON MA BRUVA" and I was like ...no :aldo: and he pushed me and told me to give him the money, so I just whacked him in the face as hard as I could and the little brother ran. The other chav squirmed on the floor and I just causually walked off (to make it look good, of course :aldo:)
So, I fought and kept the £20 and bought pizza with it. Win.
That was awesome! :dance:You deserve a cookie. *gives cookie*
Most chavs that live near me, and I live in Portsmouth, England, UK, (AKA Chavs-ville.) are well -- idiots. They will persist, calling me and my friends "emo", "goth" hoping to get a rise out of us. Some of my friends reply but I have a very long patience-span so when I snap, I SNAP and that generally causes them to run very far.
I hate chavs. Oh wait I hate those retarded stereotypes: "chav". Let me rephrase that. *ahem* I hate tax-mooching, idiot, chav-scum. :cookie:

You know, if the Devil was real and were were performing Satanic rituals all this time, you'd think we'd be able to summon Satan to smite the believers by now. Which would totally defeat the point of atheism, but it'd be fun.
Also, where's the logic in atheists performing satanic rituals? Wouldn't that involve BELIEVING in Satan?

You don't seem to know much about the LaVeyan Church of Satan. Why don't you go to the website and see what they have to say. Basically Satan = the opponent of organized religion. They are social darwinists and essentially atheists.

Not to mention that we live in England and not in the Bronx.

That's quite interesting, actually. How is a gun less of a threat than a knife? In hand to hand combat yeah.
A knife, can be sliced, stabbed and the wound can be made to be much larger and lethal than most handgun wounds. This makes it harder to disarm as you can't get hold of the blade (Slicing) and the opponent probably won't be as confident as if he had a gun.
A gun, can only do damage if your in it's exact line of fire, so it's a matter of moving your body a very small amount to lose the line of sight, then grab the gun anywhere (apart from putting your hand over the barrel), and either disarm him, empty the weapon or make him shoot himself with it, which is easier than anything involving a knife.

Yeah, but surely it's hard to get out of the line of fire. I'm mean it doesn't take much to get IN the line of fire and then get shot. Especially when you have to come up right up close to them in order to disarm them.
Neal
Jan 22 2008, 06:43 PM
Uhm, chances are they wont start shooting you from a distance. If they do pull a gun on you, you'll probably be right next to them. Like Luc said, you can push a gun away with your hand easier than you can a knife. It's the distance which fucks you :aldo: but he was talking about hand to hand.
Halfmetal
Jan 22 2008, 07:25 PM
I don't see how you being closer makes it any easier. Surely it's much faster to pull a trigger than to move your arm and attempt a precise disarming movement.

oh, how your bubble's gonna burst

she'll be driving in a hearse
you're gonna need a heap of glue
when they all catch up with you
and they cut you up in two
now your ears are ringing
the birds have stopped their singing
everything is turning grey
no candy in your till
no cutie left to thrill
you're alone on a tuesday

OH COME ON. In that video it's really not fair that the gun is in the holster and the knife is already out. If the gun was already out and the knife was always out, gun>knife EVERY TIME.
Besides, which are you more likely you get out of, someone holding a knife to your throat or someone putting a gun to your head?
Nagase
Jan 23 2008, 03:56 AM
Gun to your head is easier to get out than a knife to your throat.
Neal
Jan 23 2008, 04:02 AM
Yeah, definitely. If you stuggle from a knife you can slit your own throat.
Devious

But slashing with a knife takes longer than simply pulling the trigger, and it has more room for error. If you don't kill them immediately, or you slip or something.

Athiests as a Majority
This is what it would be like, if the majority of people were athiests.
ATHIEST KID: Mom, I'm going to go fuck a hooker.
ATHIEST MOM: Okay, son.
ATHIEST KID: Afterwards, I'm going to go smoke pot with my friends, since it's "not addictive."
ATHIEST MOM: Okay, come home soon!
The athiest kid leaves the room. The father comes home from work several minutes later.
ATHIEST DAD: Hey!
ATHIEST MOM: Hi, honey! I'm pregnant again. I guess I'll just get another abortion, since "fetuses don't count as human life."
ATHIEST DAD: Okay, get as many abortions as you want!
ATHIEST MOM: Oh, and don't go in the bedroom.
ATHIEST DAD: Why not?
ATHIEST MOM: There are two gay men fucking eachother in there.
ATHIEST DAD: Why are they here?
ATHIEST MOM: I wanted to watch them do it for awhile. They just aren't finished yet.
ATHIEST DAD: Okay, that's fine with me!
Suddenly, their neighbor runs into the house.
ATHIEST NEIGHBOR: Come quick, there's a Christian outside!
ATHIEST MOM: We'll be right there!
The athiest couple quickly put on a pair of black robes and hoods. They then exit the house, and run into the street, where a Christian is nailed to a large, wooden X. He is being burned alive. A crowd of athiests stand around him, all wearing black robes and hoods.
RANDOM ATHIEST: Damn you, Christian! We hate you! We claim to be tolerant of all religions. But we really hate your's! That's because we athiests are hypocritical like that! Die, Christian!
THE END
Scary, isn't it?
Had to be done. I couldn't stop lol'ing at this.
